I've done these 2 for my brother's office. His Birthday is coming up.
Now i've come up with 3 mock ups. Do I go with the 2 that is like the 2 i've done before. The first one I'll put all in grey uniforms like X-force. Then the one with Hound, Green Arrow, Hawkeye etc. would be close to the mock up. (which is easier than doing the x-force outfits)
or Dragons he likes D&D
what do you guys think? Would you want 2 more of the same or A new Dragon Drawing... the multiple characters are 24"x18" the Dragons would be 36"x24"
Thanks the first 2 took me about 30hrs each. The Hound, Arrow, and Hawkeye one will take about same amount. The "X-force" one will take a lot longer. The Dragons would be easier too. So I was trying to cop out and do something easier for his birthday.

I do too. I might be projecting a bit. Dragons are my favorite creature too. We are both middle aged D&D Nerds, but I think I like Dragons more. Or just dreading the amount of time that the more complicated ones. I am my toughest critic but being able to do this does saves on Birthday and Christmas gifts

Two of the same. Then guests to his office will search for their favourite characters amongst the four. Best not to spoil the pattern. Then you can add to that as well if you wanted. A D&D just throws a spanner in the works.

I am giving myself more time this time around. I don't want to rush. Also I broke my shoulder in September. It's pretty much healed,but there is some lingering problems. The first time I tried to sketch after the break my fingers went a little numb and shoulder started to ache after 30 minutes or so. That has gotten better since the first attempt, but not completely gone.

I kind of like maybe just Arrow and Hawkeye by themselves...but the Dragon one could be cool if you painted them with more interaction.

I'm still struggling with the pain and numbness. And the hand doesn't feel the same way it did before the break. I haven't given up or anything, but as I was going to use this forum to motivate me figure I'd should update. I plan on spending a few hours this weekend to practice my fine motor skills. I've got some family coming over this weekend but I suspect a few hours away from them wouldn't be that big of an insult to them.

I still have PT but only 2 times a month. I actually ended up doing a photo realistic black and white drawing of his Bull Dog. Years ago I did a black and white photo realistic Tiger. (We are all big Clemson Tiger fans) His wife suggested the dog.
