In Boogie Nights, when Dirk is in the midst of the drug deal, when the camera focuses on him for about 30 seconds and you can see him thinking "How the hell did my life get to this point?".

Conrad Veidt in The man Who Laughs-there is one scene in particular where he is holding his mouth in anguish without doing anything--very moving. Silent movie though so he couldnt speak even if he wanted to.
Peter Cushing as the old hermit in Tales From the Crypt. The most emotionally moving expression as he is reading the valentine's cards he believes are from the townspeople telling him to kill himself.

Alicia Vikander conveys a lot with just her facial expression in Testament of Youth. No specific moment comes to mind. I definitely agree with that^. Alicia Vikander is great throughout the movie. I just watched The Salvation (2014) last night. Eva Green was particularly impressive in it, as her character didn’t utter a word throughout the film and just had to convey everything she was feeling through her eyes/facial expressions.

LOTR: ROTK - Frodo & Sam in the bedroom... annnnd insert jokes? Srsly though, they aced that scene, holding the gravitas of their journey while the rest are partying.
Jaws - Brody & Hooper for a laugh & a breather in the water.
Once Upon a Time in the West - Harmonica & Frank

The look on James Bond's face in Goldfinger, when he finds Jill Masterson painted in gold and dead. The look on. Bond's face, it's like he blames himself for her death. If he hadn't got involved, then she'd still be alive.
Connery pulled that off brilliantly!
