Easily 800 m. Just like the last three outings in the MCU #teamcolden #hasdcfanbeenbannedyet won't come anywhere close to $800 m, considering that other than Hong Kong, Black Panther probably won't be released in China. Just like Justice League, DC's biggest film, couldn't even break 800 million!?!? Couldn't even break BvS box office numbers. Couldn't even break a billion. None of them have. Justice League should have broken a billion, but it failed to do that |

Justice League should have broken a billion, but it failed to do that And a film doesn't necessarily have to open in China to be a success. Deadpool grossed over $775 million worldwide ($413 million of that came from international box office); but it didn't open in China at all. It was a huge box office hit in the UK, France, Australia, Russia, Germany South Korea, Spain, and Mexico, among other countries. It even did extremely well in countries you wouldn't expect, such as the United Arab Eremites, Kenya, Ethiopia and even Vietnam. So who needs China? |

I predict that I don't really care about it. Can I do that? Or is it racist?
Since i saw the infinity war trailer it's all I'm expecting from MCU.i just can't get myself excited for a smaller scale MCU movie right now. Maybe after I see infinity war I'll give this one a shot too

No one considers Black Panther to be an important film like Wonder Woman. You obviously haven't been on Black Twitter. Wonder Woman is only the 3rd superhero movie to be nominated for the PGA's Best Theatrical Motion Picture and is a strong contender to be the 1st superhero movie nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. Also, Patty Jenkins was a finalist for TIME Magazine's Person of the Year. It's laughable to think that Black Panther will be as important as Wonder Woman. |
