If memory serves me correctly, there were 52 pages on the old Classic Films forum when IMDb shut it down. Well, less than a year later, there are 52 pages of messages, and it's still increasing. I'm guessing that this new format is just as popular as the old one--maybe more so. :-D

I have enjoyed a wonderful year of Classic Film sharing and friendly exchange. With over 40,000 posts, a very rough average would be over 100 posts a day, around 30 new threads appear every week ! interest seems to have increased lately with a steady rise in visitor numbers and new member participation. Thanks so much to all the valuable contributors who have kept the board alive, stimulating our passion with a diverse array of Classic Film thread topics,

I rarely visited the forum on 'classic' IMBb. Glad to hear this one is gaining so much traction though. Hell, for all we know, there used to be more on there until they started randomly deleting message boards up until the great purge.
