I had some errands, recorded the game, just finished watching it. Whoa, what a second half by Marcus Mariota! This guy is frequently criticized, and now he had a superb road playoff win in which he did everything: the 2nd pass to himself to score a TD in the history of the league, great passing, extended plays with his legs, blocked a defender to allow his runner to score... Respect! This was a performance for the ages. This was only the second time in the history of the league when a team down by 18 at halftime goes on to win a road playoff game. The first time it happened, 1957. So, we witnessed a piece of league history today.
The Chiefs ended up being... the Chiefs, and were again one-and-done at home. What a disappointment! I like the Chiefs and was hoping they'd win, but I have to tip my hat to Mariota and compliment the Titans players and fans. Well done!
This game that was supposed to be the least enjoyable one, ended up being highly entertaining. That's the NFL for ya, folks!
Tennessee surprised everybody, and even if they lose the next game, they can say they had a successful season, with a playoff win, and at least among the elite 8 teams this season if we were to use college terminology.
Now I'll be a nervous wreck. Go Falcons!

Mariota is trash, I’ve said it all year, such a turnover machine and not accurate either. The Titans will never be in contention for anything with him at QB, he’s a bust. Wow. Xeliou66, buddy, you definitely spoke too soon!

Wow. Xeliou66, buddy, you definitely spoke too soon! It didn't change his mind, he called him "Marcus Shittiota". Yeah I stick by my word. The Titans won cause the Chiefs choked and Henry had a big day, Mariota made a few good plays and didn’t turn it over in the second half but I stand by my word, he’s shit. One of only 4 QB’s who had more picks than TD’s this year, the other 3 were Siemien, Hundley and Kizer.

Unbelievable. No excuse for the Chiefs losing that game. They are huge playoff chokers. The Titans are the worst team to win a playoff game I can remember in ages. The Pats will kill them. Marcus Shittiota is still garbage, if the Titans had a good QB they would have a good offense, they have a very strong O-Line, Henry is a very good RB and they have some decent receivers, Murray didn’t even play today. Chiefs offense did nothing without Kelce, they have to get more receivers this offseason, they only have Kelce and Hill. Whoa. How is that for cognitive dissonance? Marcus Mariota, a third year QB, just had one of the best playoff performances in the history of the league, and you are unable to adapt your perception which was obviously wrong, and say, like sdm3 said, "oops, I was wrong when I called him a bust"? Shittiota? The guy spends two full quarters leading his team in coming from behind 18 points for only the second time in league history in this circumstance (first time 1957), does everything - good passing, good running, scores a spectacular TD himself, even blocks a defender to allow his runner to score... and all that you can say about him is "Shittiota"? Wow. I'll tell you what, if Marcus Mariota who is celebrating tonight were able to read your words, he'd be laughing at you. Sure, the Pats are likely to kill them, but they will still have a road playoff win under their belt and will still have finished among the last eight teams standing, which is a successful season (it's more than what 24 other teams can say), and whatever you say, you won't take this away from them.

Xeliou66, buddy, you definitely spoke too soon! To be fair.....KC choked this game. 6 yards in the 3rd, wtf is that? I like Kelce, I do, but they got a few more weapons. Hunt could win ROTY (Poor DeShawn....Kamara has a shot, I think Hunt should win tbh). KC should have won this game, look at the predictions, 13 said KC, 1 said Ten (ME! LOL) still, this was KC game to lose. I dont trust Marcus, now if Ten beats NE...ok, Ill eat the words (Or Pitt if Buf pulls off the upset). IDK I just dont trust Marcus, IDK if "Bust" is fair, but I can def name other QBs id rather have: Brady Big Ben Matt Ryan A. Rodgers (HE WILL come back strong) D. Brees A. Luck (Hope he comes back strong) C. Newton D. Carr D. Watson (Hope he comes back strong) K. Cousins R. Wilson Dak P Wentz Now I think most have those 12....now: M. Stafford Goff A. Smith (I know he lost today, but it's a team game) C. Keenum J. Winston P. Rivers E. Manning (Ehhh...he has 2 SBowls) A. Dalton Now I guess you could debate Eli, is Case a one hit wonder, Winston, maybe Dalton....still, Mariotta imho is in that at best 15-18 category, or 19-22 category. Id be shocked if anyone names those top 12 > Mariotta (I guess people can debate on Dak maybe). Still.....Id rather have them > Mariotta. Eli maybe not he's older now...Rivers too, but can you say Marcus is a top 15 QB? 1 playoff win a QB doesnt make. Hell Brock has a playoff win...fn Brock Osweiler, anyone want him? Brad Johnson won a super bowl, want him over Marino? Trent Dilfer > Marino...no. Eli beat Tom twice...you want Eli > Tom? Id still rather have Smith > Mariotta. Im not saying Marcus is a bust....but as I did, I can easily name 15 QBs id rather have.

A detail, though, because you also said several times "the Titans suck," etc., (which I'd assume, at the times you said it, included their quarterback), but then you were flexible enough to say that your earlier posts came back to bite you, and you complimented their performance. In spirit if not in the letter of your posts, you did berate them first, then changed your mind and gave them credit, which our friend here was unable to do. So I stand by my post even if I got this minor detail wrong.

19-31 for 205, 2 TD’s-1 pick, 46 rushing yards isn’t bad, but it certainly isn’t one of the best playoff performances in the history of the league!!!!! What planet are you on? The Chiefs shit their pants, and the running game came on for the Titans, Henry made the biggest plays. Mariota made some decent throws and didn’t turn it over, but 19-31 for 205 with 2 TD’s and 1 pick is far from one of the best playoff performances ever. It’s just an average game.
When you are in the same category as DeShone Kizer, Trevor Siemien and Brett Hundley as the only QB’s with more picks than TD’s with a big enough size of passes, that earns you the nickname of Shittiota.
Falcons-Rams is a defensive battle so far, nice to see the Falcons defense continue to play well after their best performance of the season in Week 17 against the Panthers.

The Titans do suck, which is my position as a dumb Colts fan, however I like Mariota. He's not elite or anything and didn't have a good year but he's only a third-year QB, has shown lots of potential, and just had a clutch playoff performance.

Sure, they did choke, but if he had played any less well, the Titans would still have lost. Credit needs to be given where credit is due. See, I'm no Titans fan and no Mariota fan. Just, as a football lover, I can'd deny that what he did in the second half was pretty special.

You seem to have missed the part where I said over and over, *second half performance* - look at his numbers for the second half only, consider that no other team did that since freaking 1957, factor in *the way* he did it (with all those spectacular plays), and yes, he had a phenomenal performance. I'm on planet Earth. Right here in the northern part of the Americas, in a country called The United States of America. Watching some football on TV. You seem to be elsewhere, though. But anyway, yay! We just got a phenomenal recovery of a turnover! Let's stop fighting about Mariota, a guy I'm not even a fan of, and concentrate on our team! Go Falcons!

Darn. Only a FG attempt will come from the turnover. We need to drive the knife in when they give one to us. But anyway, we drew first blood. 3-0. Let's go, boys!

Trent D and B Johnson both have SBowl rings....you want them over Marino? Brock Osweiler won us a playoff game....you want Brock? (Ask Denver how that went.) Titans played KC, a KC team you and I both werent even sure theyd get to the playoffs, remember my friend? Remember how we both saw KC losing game...and another...and another....and another. Hey, 14 votes were cast who'd win...KC Vs Titans, I picked Ten, only me. Why, because you and I saw it...KC was wetting the bed the 2nd half of this season, at times we put them in the "TBD" category. KC from game 1 to game 17...not the game. I thought Reid and the Chiefs would choke it away, and I was right. Eli out played Tom twice...you really want Eli > Tom, no. As the movie says,"Any Given Sunday." (Good film btw).
