Goff and Gurley will be a little too much for your D. Hm... like I said, it was our offense that was too much for their D.

Two good playoff games tonight. I've no complaints. The football season's so short compared to most other team sports, you've gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

That leaves Minnesota vs the winner of NO/Carolina. Tasty.

Falcons advance! Nice win, very dominant throughout. Reminiscent of Week 17’s win over the Panthers, dominant defense and solid offense with a strong performance from Matt Ryan and several FG’s from Matt Bryant. I’m excited we are playing the Eagles as Foles has looked atrocious and I think we will win.
Rams had a good season, they just need a bit more to be a Super Bowl caliber team, they need another receiver as they don’t quite have enough there, they never used Sammy Watkins enough all year, and their CB’s are just average as well. The future is bright for them though.

Wow! No love for the Falcons in that poll. Great game by the Falcons D looked pretty good for the most part. Offense looked a bit better than they have looked at the end of the season but still had some red zone sputtering ending with settling for a fg. Still that was a great way to start the playoffs over a solid explosive Rams team.
What was up with that field though? Grass on top of ice?!!

That leaves Minnesota vs the winner of NO/Carolina. Tasty. Now paradoxically I will need to root for Carolina because: 1. They beat the Vikings already, might be able to knock down the dangerous Vikings 2. If they beat NO and the Vikings and, as I expect, we beat Philly, then I feel a lot better about the NFC championship game being in Charlotte rather than in New Orleans or Minneapolis. So, pinching my nose, tomorrow I'll say Go Panthers! But in any case, things look good for my Falcons, because likely we'll get to the NFC championship game sort of whole (as a matter of fact today's win against the Rams was ultimately relatively easy, and I expect that it will be easier against Philadelphia) while either the Saints or the Panthers will survive after a bruising battle, then that winner and the Vikings will have another bruising battle.

I know you Xeliou and a couple other guys here including myself always vote for Atlanta whether or not there's a poll. We've said so all season so we're not changing teams now. It was locked when I got here too though. On to Philly.

titans and falcons in 2 shocking upsets that being said i'm rooting for the chiefs and rams I just noticed that no-one gave this guy credit for these calls. Someone was in the thread trying to claim they were the only one to pick Tennessee and Atlanta but they somehow missed the first damn reply in the thread which did exactly that. Well done sir!

Falcons fans have to feel pretty good about their chances. Philly must look like a wounded gazelle to them. Eagles first ever #1 seed underdog (+2) in the Divisional Round.

Atlanta didn’t surprise me. They’re postseason vets against a team that’s just getting their feet wet.
Titans Chiefs coulda gone either way but I was impressed Tenn came back because they looked real bad in the first half of that game. The Marriott pass to himself was lotsa fun to watch.

Vintage Andy Reid performance yesterday! The strip sack of Mariota called "forward progress" was a joke. It's one thing if the QB is actually trying to run. But there have been probably 100 fumbles on sacks from the front that have never been whistled dead by forward progress. That was likely game over. Every damn break and call went to Tennessee.
