My first Mario game was Super Mario Kart. Another classic. Yes. The Mario Kart games are a classic in their own right too. Have you played Mario Kart 8? It not only has a lot of new courses but it has new versions of classic courses from the previous games and it is fun playing some of the old courses from the first game that were in 2D in 3D. I think we will get a Mario Kart Switch sometime in the next few years 'cause they have released a new Mario Kart game for every Nintendo console since the Super Nintendo. Yes! I love MK8!

LOL I don't really have an eating problem now. I weigh about half as much. Double dash is the only game in mario Kart's library I have yet to play. The People I live with, their son wants to sell it to me because he diesn't like it Oohh. Okay. That is nice to hear. In my opinion 'Mario Kart: Double Dash' is the third best game out of the 'Mario Kart' series and it has some great courses that are fun to play. A lot of my friends that like Mario games were hoping Nintendo would re-release the game on the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U but they didn't end up putting any Gamecube games on it. Have you played 'Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing' and 'Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed?' They are very similar to the Mario Kart games except they have Sega and characters and 'Transformed' was my favourite.

I'm a huge Mario fanatic. Been playing since I was 3 years old, back in 1986. I'll never forget walking into the living room and seeing my parents play the original Super Mario Bros. on NES. The NES wasn't bought for me, but from that moment forward, it became MY toy.
Played, loved (and beaten) the majority of Mario games on various systems over the years. Recently was into Super Mario 3D World for the WiiU. Used to do suicide runs on world 8-1 on Super Mario Bros. for the NES, you know, where you just blaze through the level as fast as humanly possible. I was gooooood. Even have a Mario mushroom tattoo. Yup, big fan.

I have a lot of game consoles I have kept over the years and I love my Wii U and I still have it connected in our bedroom and I love playing 'Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker' and 'Yoshi's Woolly World' the most on it and I lost count of how many times I have played 'Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker' 'cause I love that game and Toadette is so awesome!! I got the two 'Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing' games on X Box 360 and I don't know how easy it is to get X Box 360 video games in your country but you can get X Box 360 consoles really cheap here now and there are a lot of X Box 360 games that are really cheap and a lot of them are not even second hand and I have seen those games so that might be an easy way for you to get them one day.

Yup, big fan. Wow. That is impressive. I am fast at some levels of the Mario games but I prefer to play them slow which is why I wasn't a big fan of the 'Super Luigi U' game which had a really short time limit on the level and didn't give you much time to explore. I was playing 'Super Mario 3D World' again not long before I got Super Mario Odyssey' and that is a good game and I don't know if you have played 'Captain Toad Treasure Tracker' but a lot of the levels in it are inspired by the levels in 'Super Mario 3D World' and you can actually play some of the 'Super Mario 3D World' as Captain Toad as part of the bonus chapter.

I even like some of the unpopular games in the series, such as "Hotel Mario" for CD-i and Mario Clash for the Virtual Boy.
Yes, I own both a CD-i and Virtual Boy (the latter is a bit "iffy", doesn't always work).

Those are all great picks. What I would personally love to see is Super Mario Land 1 and 2 and Wario Land 1 and 2 re-released in colour on the Nintendo Switch 'cause they would look so different with a remake compared to what they looked like on the Gameboy but sadly the main person in charge of the Mario franchise has said they have no plans to remake games.

I am really hoping they bring out a third game in the 'New Donkey Kong Country' series 'cause I liked 'Tropical Freeze' and 'New Donkey Kong Country Returns' and think there should be a third or they make a sequel to 'Donkey Kong 64' 'cause it has been so long since we have had a Donkey Kong 3D game. I think Rare going to Microsoft might have had something to do with that but surely they could get somebody else to make another 3D game and they should hire the team that made 'Yooka Laylee' 'cause they are the same game developers that made 'Donkey Kong 64' and no longer work for Rare.

Update: The DS game is New Super Mario Bros. I completed it, but you have to unlock 2 worlds by defeating the final boss in mini Mario mode. Not gonna happen.

I like Super Mario, Super Mario Sunshine, the Mario Parties and Mario kart the best. I also like Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. When I was a kid someone asked me if I played tennis and I was like "I play Mario tennis" 😂 Thats how much I loved them

I loved the "Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing" games. They were fab. I should replay them at some point. Not only were they fab but I think they were also very underrated and some people criticised them for being too similar to the 'Mario Kart' video games and not being unique enough but I didn't mind that and it was kinda like getting two 'Mario Kart' video games around the same time. I am hoping Sega releases a third game in the future but it has surprisingly been nearly 6 years since they released the last game so I am not sure. Just recently they released 2 Sonic games called 'Sonic Forces' and 'Sonic Mania' and I got both of them and 'Sonic Forces' is mostly a 3D game and is very similar to 'Sonic Colours' and 'Sonic Generations' and 'Sonic Mania' is a throwback to the old 2D games that came out on Sega Mega Drive and actually uses some of the old levels from those games that were unfinished before.

It is hard but once you play them a few times you get the hang of it. The easiest way to beat the first one is to keep bouncing off the walls and using the ground pound on its head and if you move quickly enough it won't be able to touch you. I love mini Mario mode but it has its disadvantage with you only needing to be hit one time by an enemy and your dead.
