I wonder what happens to all the ugly women who go to acting schools, drama classes, and TV presenting workshops? Because they certainly aren't getting jobs on television any more.

How is this different from the last 100 years? I'm sure they used to get a lot more parts 20 years ago. I was watching the BBC's adaptation of 'War and Peace' last year or the year before, and there is a character who Tolstoy clearly describes as being unattractive in the book. But the actress who played her was easily an 8.5. It was at that moment I realised "it's over for ugly women now". |

OK, I Google Image her (had to search with her name + Sky Sports or else it goes to some other woman) and she is fine, but nothing to really write home about, in my opinion. i love the 'girl next door' type. doesn't have to try too hard and still pull off looking attractive in sweat pants, a pony tail, no make up and flip flops.... she's incredibly smart too.
