Robin Hood - I mean, really, an African-American person in a Robin Hood film? Oh really.... In this tv show, and it is to this very day my personal benchmark, they had an Arab, Nasir, and it worked perfectly well. It could work if it was NOT little John, or one of the other classic members of his brotherhood but some sort of brother in arm/friend from the crusade. Nasir was introduced as sellsword who was hired and brought to England by a Lord who had taken part in a crusade. But diversity is everything today.

My only guess is they wanted to kill two birds with one stone and combined some characters into one. The set photos do not instill confidence even if Foxx wasn't involved.

I'm gonna also throw in The Meg, with Jason Statham and Ruby Rose. I mean, I'll probably see it but dunno how much people are clamoring for a giant shark movie.
I was going to mention that IF you or NO ONE ELSE did.

I've added Pacific Rim due to the black lead: I guess the people will get sick of being shovelled this Hollywood agenda down their throat over and over again. And it will certainly not rise te appeal for the Chinese audience...will it run in China at all? More so he is even a bland actor. His contribution to Star Wars was meh at beat. No way that such an actor can carry such a movie as lead. I had loved to see this flick but the black lead is the one reason I won't.

I think “A Wrinkle in Time” might tank because Winfrey hasn’t really had a box office hit since “The Color Purple”.

Oprah Winfrey looks disastrous in Wrinkle in time. Like she just walked off the set of RuPaul's DRAG RACE. Lol.

Again, not to sound snobbish or anything but we're at a point in film where people should recognize a bomb just by the costume design. Dude, this costume screams bomb.

Dude, this costume screams bomb. That, too (from this Robin Hood movie) This looks like "over-the-hill" James Bond crashes a play about King Arthur. While dressing like he's from Blade Runner 2049. Boooomb

A Wrinkle in Time is the big winner so far
Pacific Rim Uprising is a franchise killer Tomb Raider being a franchise non-starter Ready Player One a modest success thanks to China and an ok box office domestically

I think A Wrinkle in Time is the biggest flop of the year. The theater I was in was nearly empty although I did pay to see it in 4D, so that might explain why. Solo: A Star Wars movie was also a flop. There were only three peole in that theater with me.

If someone wants to watch Robin Hood, watch Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves - 91'. That film hit all the right spots. A great cast, wonderfully executed with some strong violence for a PG13 and the romance aspect wasn't overly mushy.
