Well, I am up for it but I wonder if he's anticipating 12 Strong flopping.

I like him as Thor so I'm down with it.

I like him as Thor so I'm down with it. Ragnarok upended the status quo within Thor's world. Prior to that, I'd have suggested using Amora the Enchantress as the next villain but now, she may be seen as a Hela knockoff. Maybe Perrikus and the Dark Gods?

I'd hope he would as I'm concerned as to how many of the original line up, mainly Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, will still be around after these two Avengers movies.

I'd be cool with it. Shame we will never see an Iron Man 4 though.

Taika also wants to do Thor 4. I hope MS will do it.

If I was Hemsworth, I'd stick to the MCU as long as I can. He isn't exactly doing great outside the MCU and his gig as Thor is a pretty stable job. I'd take job stability over artistic freedom any day.

Well, I am up for it but I wonder if he's anticipating 12 Strong flopping. Honestly Thor has been pretty much the best thing going for Hemsworth's career, everything else he's done has not duplicated the same kind of success. Only thing coming close was Star Trek, but really he only had a fairly small part in the 2009 movie and was totally "blink or you'll miss" in its follow-up.

Yeah I don't see it making much either, even if word is positive. Star Wars is still gonna make money and Jumanji's proving to be quite the crowd pleaser( I honestly don't think that many thought it would make as much as it is now). You've also got The Commuter with Liam Neeson, kind of the king of the early year blockbuster market since Taken, and the new Maze Runner.

Yeah, done in 2010 but not released until 2012 only after Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson had become more known for Thor and Hunger Games. And then there was that whole mess up of them switching the bad guys from China to...North Korea. As a force capable of invading the US. Yeah.

They were together for some time but broke up before making the film, so I guess it was an amicable departure. His wife is actually playing his wife in 12 Strong, so I guess that's nice and all. Wish Elsa Pataky was in more stuff, probably will happen when their kids are older.

Marvel Studios would be fools to pass him up after Ragnarok's success.
