I think what he meant was that Marvel has potential for two billion because of the three films coming out this year:

Black Panther, which is getting a lot of hype and depending on how good it is, has potential to make a lot of money, possibly around 800 million world wide.

Infinity War, which has a very high chance of hitting over a billion WW.

Ant-Man and The Wasp, which will probably make more than it's previous film.

$800 million is too high an estimate for Black Panther, especially considering that other than Hong Kong, Black Panther probably won't get released in China. $600 million would be a more accurate estimate for Black Panther.
