I understand that many people do not like the word "fear" in that context. Other choices might be apprehension, foreboding, trepidation. I suppose it would not have to be an "alarm at." It would only have to be enough to make a person "circumspect." I suspect the problem with people who defy godly principles is indeed a lack of circumspection. Yeah, I guess sheep are more timid than most carnivore species. Courage and foolhardiness are also two different things. |

It has a bearing when you immediately followup the HIV/male homosexual statistic with a sentence about "evil ways." I can't help if you don't understand the implied logical connection of that, or the related connection between lesbians and a lack of HIV. Nope, you aren't going to assign me a position I never made. Next time ask questions if you want something clarified. Don't assume you only make an ass of yourself. I'm not "assigning" any "position" to you. When you create an OP that contains three associated sentences (associated meaning they all revolve around the same subject), the logical connections between them are implied. You denying they exist is you not doing logic. When someone does an argumentum ad absurdum based on those implied connections and you don't get it, that is you not doing logic. There's no way you can spin this that doesn't paint you as severely logic handicapped. Saying you didn't overtly state a position is just you being blind to the aforementioned logical inferences. |

Since Sex Ed started including it the rate of new HIV infections have fallen steadily since about 1997. The increase of people living with it is due to medical advances and less people dying from it. Then why demand more Sex Ed? Because it works. Because before the sex ed most probably thought anal and oral sex without condoms was safe, while heterosexual couples were trying to prevent pregnancies. |

I never claimed someone couldn't reach a conclusion other than how I intended it, or that that they couldn't think something may have been implied. I said I never meant it that way and I even explained how I meant it.
How I intended it is true...homosexual acts are evil to God and practicing Christians and Divi's statement doesn't impact that in even the slightest way.
Next time ask questions if you aren't sure.
