Awesome song, disappointing album. I remember when I got that album back when it came out. I was so pumped. I was, of course, expecting 10 songs that sounded like Zombie, like songs that belonged on a rock album.
Ha ha, instead I got 10 acoustic Irish folk tunes. At age 18, I was like, this is terrible.
Then I actually became a fan and ended up with four of their albums.
My band plays Zombie (it's probably the easiest song in the world to play) and it's always a big hit, especially with older women who are pleased that an all-male band is taking on a chick song.

What's in your head? In your head Zombie Zombie Zombie........
I think it's good. Moody and introspective.

Can't stand it ... 99% down to O'Riordan's awful caterwauling. Just sick-making.

Good song, no question about it. That and its video was to be everywhere back in the mid 90s, and was probably one of the most played song on radios then or so it felt like it. Never heard much of their other stuff after that, well, beside a ballad they made a year or two after that also got some serious airtime. Maybe it is time to take a closer look at some of their albums.

I like it. It's a bit too bombastic and dramatic, maybe, but it's a good song.

For me, one thing I like about it is her accent. Irish, Welsh and Scots accents can make English sound more interesting.

Doleres O'Riordan has a great voice. Ode to my Family is another great song.

To The Faithful Departed is when they peaked imo. Hollywood, Salvation, Free To Decide, The Rebels and Electric Blue are all good tracks.

I like it. I am a big fan of the Cranberries and own all of their albums and have seen them in concert and while it is not my favourite song I think it is one of their best.
