Thank you captain obvious. But part of what goes into critically determining whether something is good is how well it is received by the masses. You implied that it does. You can't have it both ways. I can do whatever the fuck I want. And sorry, but it's rather annoying that I have made the exact same point in other threads about the difference between good/bad like/don't like to only be reminded of it by a smarmy comment as if I didn't myself author the same idea. So, yep. Got it. Critical reviews are not to be confused with popular reviews. I knew that 25 years ago and I still know it. Thanks for the reminder. |

To me that pretty unambiguously (not to mention smugly) implies you believe the songs popularity ( Just look at how many youtube views it has) is alone evidence of it’s quality ( end of story). |
