Love this movie and the sequel. Mark Duplass is just awesome in them. Yup he nailed it. If you like found footage, this is a must see. I'd put it in the top 2-3 because other than the original Blair Witch I'm not coming up with anything that beats this one. |

Surprisingly good movie. I like low budget found footage/doc style ventures and this one was more than a few marks better than most of what's out there. I heard good things, but this was a genuinely great horror experience for me.
I was skeptical of a sequel as I didn't know how they could build on the first. Nevertheless, they did and turned out a sequel that is very close to being as good as the first.
Liking Mark Duplass's recent work. He's getting to be enough of a consistently good name that I'll probably see whatever he's lurking around in as a writer or actor.
