Ryan redeems himself for that missed bootleg. Yep. And we didn't miss the PAT. But this is a tough game, like I said when I gave to Atlanta a 52% chance of succeeding (that is, a close game, compatible with the -3 the bookmakers mentioned) when I was speaking seriously, and not just countering frogs and DSDSquare). The Eagles are shooting themselves in the foot with 2 TOs and a total of four fumbles but otherwise their defense is tough and their running game is working. |

Kind of OT, but what moderation happened to screaming tree frogs? Not sure what is up with his aggressive behavior today. When he went berserk for no reason on King Kong Brady with gross personal attacks like insinuations that he is gay, I simply asked him to tone it down. He went on a full blown rant about how I was abusing my moderation powers, said dramatically "ban me already" and ever since hasn't stopped bringing up the fact that I'm a moderator, even when I'm simply discussing football like a general member. By the way he went berserk on you too with the Luigi cartoons. Frogs is an outlier - the one person here who can't stop the gross personal attacks and can't discuss with civility and good humor like we all do. This is the fourth time he goes into an aggressive rant. Aggressive? You call somebody to the table for being aggressive when you don't know when a fumble is a QBs fault or a RBs and shows you you're not as smart as you think you are - is that what you call aggressive? Just because somebody doesn't agree with you or bow to your opinion? Just because I proved you to be a complete Dolt and I had to post a tutorial on 'I'm sorry vs. I apologize'? That's what is aggresive? Just because somebody doesn't put up with your bullshit and they call you to the table on it? Seems to me - you have a hard time with dealing with people who question your constant BS. |

Okay thanks I missed that rant, I tend to ignore a lot of King Kong Brady’s posts since he’s started with the rants about the anthem protests, also he’s basically the pro Brady version of AH. Frogs is strange all around, the majority of the time he’s a good poster but occasionally he will go nasty tirades at people for no reason. He did it with me with the Luigi stuff and nasty attacks simply because I started the TNF thread that week, and he’s doing it today at you for no reason. Very bizarre. Strange? You're the one who said you were alone for the holidays. Look at your posting history you miserable dick who made numerous posts during the Holiday season that you hated the holidays. All I did was make a post about the holiday and you had to comment about me being 'sentimental again'. I’m feeling pretty good about the Falcons. They are moving well, forcing TO’s and Foles looks like shit once again. They just need to finish their drives better and I’m underwhelmed by Sark’s play calling.

Hard to say who will prevail in second half.
If Atlanta wants to keep momentum, they must score in the first possession since they chose to receive the ball in second half.
If Atlanta doesn't do anything with that possession and the Eagles score again, momentum will change and the on-the-road pressure will be felt more acutely.

But I think the Eagles fans have reasons to be optimistic. They made no fewer than 5 mistakes (four fumbles, one missed PAT), two of them being TOs, and ended up only 1 point behind. They do have the home field advantage and Atlanta is not a great fourth quarter team, if I remember well, gulp, the last Super Bowl... As a Falcons fan I'd have felt a lot more comfortable if we had taken better advantage of the Eagles' mistakes, coming out of the first half with say, 10 points ahead. As it is, this game is a toss-up and they are more resilient than I expected. They are also more rested so maybe will be physically better than us in the second half. I'm the one scared, right now. Only one point ahead in the first half was frustrating. |
