What do you think of this song?

This song makes me think of the people one floor below. They hear a lot of fighting but they don't know what should be done. Domestic abuse is secret, until it isn't.

It's a great song.
She had another pretty decent song, too.
Just don't ask me what it was.

It's a great song. She had another pretty decent song, too. Just don't ask me what it was. Not meant to sound rude but she has written lots of great music since the 1980s and far better cuts than Luka, which no matter how many times it is played daily on norwegian radio, they just cannot make me go tired of hearing it. A beautiful song, written by a very talented singer-songwriter and sadly she often seems to be remembered as yet "another" 80s one-hit wonder: Cracking (1985)Marlene on the Wall (1985)Some Journey (1985)Ironbound - Fancy Poultry (1987)Solitude Standing (1987)Just a few of many gems taken from her first two albums. Sadly the radio stations are only interested on playing Luka and that god awful 90s remix of Tom's Diner on a weekly basis, those evil bastards!

"Just don't ask me what it was" being a lyrical line from the song we're discussing of course.

The sound of a morose sheep bleating prior to committing seppuku. And not in a good way.

Never heard this one. It didn't do much for me, but it's not really bad, per say, so I voted "average."

Excellent jangly, hypnotic pop song.
I encourage everybody to listen to Suzanne Vega singing on The Smithereens' "In a Lonely Place" from 1986...
