Keenum's 3rd favorite moment, after giving his life to Jesus Christ and getting married. Diggs gives all credit to God. God hates the Saints, apparently. God already apologized for the whole Katrina thing when the Saints won their Super Bowl.

Im tired of this,"It was all god bs," im tired of it. I cringe whenever I hear,"God put me in the right place." Okay, so apparently coaches, Keenum, no, just god. I fn hate it, it irritates me badly.

I kind of wanted Brees Vs Brady, I admit. Same here as far as potential Quarterback shootout scenarios are concerned. On the plus side, we don't have to listen to the Brady/Brees fap fest that would of come from ESPN.

Where is DSDSquared? It is interesting to see that he did not bump the threads where we thought he was wrong about the Eagles. Since screamingtreefrogs was gracious in victory and DSDSquared is nowhere to be seen, it looks like I ate crow yesterday for nothing! Darn, I could have spared myself the bitter taste of the black bird! It's the weekend, he'll be around eventually.

No shit, I’m tired of it as well. This stuff has nothing to do with god or divine power, it’s a mix of strategy, talent and luck. It’s gets so tiresome to hear people give credit to god, it makes them look stupid to be honest. If god existed, I’m pretty sure he would be more concerned about stuff like people starving, natural disasters and wars to focus on whether the Saints or Vikings win. And I bet a lot of the Saints people thought god was responsible for them winning the Super Bowl so soon after Katrina, so is god a Saints fan or not? It’s all so goddamn stupid.

For us neutral fans, it's an issue of History-making. If the Eagles win next week, OK, yawn. If the Vikings win, and then go on to beat the Patriots, this game ending will be known as one of the greatest in NFL History. We neutral fans want to see it. Sorry, but I'm switching to the Vikings. You root for whoever you want, we don't want you on our bandwagon, but it's history if the Eagles win too. First Super Bowl, first championship since 1960. It's not our fault the Vikings are the Buffalo Bills of the NFC. Why in the hell are you talking about bandwagon? Am I a bandwagon fan at all? I'm a Falcons' fan. We lost. From this point on as a football lover, as a lover of the sport, I'm looking for an interesting season end and a History-making result. In this, I'm entitled to my preferences. Even though the Eagles beat us, I had no animosity against them, and was even willing to support them in the last stretch. But as I said, as a NEUTRAL fan (not a bandwagon fan) I now want the Vikings to make it, and make History as the first home-winning Super Bowl team; not to forget, I want this moment that made it possible (the last-second TD) to be immortalized. You know what? It's this kind of comment you just made that can turn neutral people off. So now I'm saying, fuck the Eagles. And that's in part because of your attitude. I'm predicting that you'll lose at home to the Vikings, next week. If I eat crow again, no worries. It's not life or death for me. But that's my preference. Yeah, at this point I want the Vikings to prevail, including, to shut the Eagles fans up. They are getting a bit uppity and can use an attitude adjustment. Or at least some of them. I tip my hat to Frogs who was gracious. You? You haven't even won the NFC title yet, and you are already turning nasty. Fuck the Eagles.

I nicely explained to you why I was switching my preference to the Vikings, and you came up with the "bandwagon" accusation. You don't like the heat? Get out of the kitchen. If you accuse people of being bandwagon fans (which most certainly I am not) then you'll collect some push back. It's as simple as that.

Sure, I hear you, and as an atheist, I can relate. However, there are worse things in life (and in the NFL) than some players being religious folks.

OK, cool, apology accepted, and then, I apologize as well for pushing back too harshly. It's just that it irritates me when we, lovers of the sport, manifest a preference for an outcome when our own teams (to which we are loyal until the end of times) are already out, and someone comes up with the "bandwagon" accusation. Are we supposed to stop watching once our team is out, otherwise we're "bandwagon" fans? That's ridiculous, and it irritates me. That's why I reacted harshly.

Pulling for Minnesota next week. The fan base has suffered long enough. And Eagles fans haven't? The difference is that no-one gives a flying fuck about the Eagles, or has any sympathy for their suffering. Most NFL fans would be only too happy for the Eagles to go another half-century without a title.

As a neutral fan I'm just annoyed the game was won/lost on a bonehead play by the DB. A Hail Mary that got deflected would've been more dramatic and enjoyable. A DB shitting his pants and throwing his body at nothing in particular (and taking out the only other guy who could've made the tackle) is a lame way for a playoff game to end.
I'm happy for Vikes fans, I'll say that. As a Pats fan I don't want to have to play the Vikes in their home stadium in the SB, but let's not put the cart before the horse. First we have to beat the Jags-- and say what you want, if they can manhandle the Steelers that way, they can play with anyone. As far as Philly/Minnesota, I can't say I have a preferred opponent between the two.

You wouldn't prefer to play against the Eagles in a neutral field, without their franchise QB, rather than the Vikings at home with their franchise QB? I don't understand why you wouldn't want the Eagles to prevail next week. And yes, the Jags will be a worthy opponent but I think you'll beat them.

I don't see Keenum as any better or worse than Foles. I think either team could be tough and if Philly beats the Vikes, they should be respected as much as anyone else. And yeah like I said, I wouldn't want to play the Vikes on their home field but as matchups go, one team doesn't scare me more or less than the other.

First we have to beat the Jags-- and say what you want, if they can manhandle the Steelers that way, they can play with anyone. Very true. I'm seeing a lot of people say "if Ben can put up 42 points on the Jaguars, then just think what Brady will do." Thing is, it's never that simple. The Falcons gave up more points to the apparently rudderless Eagles offense than they did the high-powered Rams. The Dolphins get shut out by the Saints in London but beat the Patriots in Miami. The Rodgers-less Packers can get shut out by the Ravens at home and then go into Pittsburgh the following week and put up 28 points. It rarely works out the way you'd expect and the NFL doesn't really follow some simple formula like "Player A is better than Player B and Player B put up x points on Team C, so player A will put up even more points against Team C." I'm actually sure that the Patriots won't score 42 points next week.

The games yesterday kinda blew (although Eagles/Falcons had some tension at least) but this was probably the best Divisional Sunday I can remember. Two crazy, all-time great games.
