I've had a few where I'm reading a 1,000 page Stephen King novel that doesn't exist in real life, and I'm really enjoying it. Or in other ones I've handwritten about 100 pages of a novel.
Last night I dreamed I had just finished a short book and should now read The Dice Man, if I could afford to buy it.

Once or twice a song has played in my dream, and it's one of the best songs I ever heard, but it doesn't exist in reality and I've forgotten it after I wake.

Once or twice a song has played in my dream, and it's one of the best songs I ever heard, but it doesn't exist in reality and I've forgotten it after I wake. I just posted something similar on a different board. I had a dream about a new, global religion and this religion had a theme song and it was the greatest song ever written and I could remember it sort of when I first woke up, but now I can't remember it at all. Regarding book dreams, I had dreams that I was reading Neverending Story-like books shortly after watching the film for the first time as a kid. I also used to have dreams that played out like the choose-your-own-adventure books. In those dreams, the characters reacted with appropriate facial expressions when I would say that we could reverse them being captured and go back to what happened before we chose to investigate the factory instead of choosing to go down into the sewer first.
