I buy nearly all my DVDs and CDs from both the U.S. and UK versions of Amazon. I find both extremely useful.
Recently they launched an Australian version of Amazon, but it's mostly useless so far. For the time being, I will continue to mainly buy from the US and UK. However, that may change once the Australian version improves itself.

I just Hate their own shipping service, amazon logistics
It is such a hassle.
I wasnt home. They called me about delivering my package. I said take it to my apartments office. They called back because the office was unexpectedly closed. This was a Saturday
I told them to try again monday since i wouldn't be home all weekend. They called me again sunday morning trying to deliver again when i said Monday
And what's worse. I lived at the border of lakewood Washington and tacoma washington
The tacoma side called my street "s. 96th st", while the lakewood side calls it "96th st s"
It really makes no difference. But before i changed banks, i put the s/south part first since my apartment told me so. "S 96th st" was placed on a "do not deliver with amazon logistics" list
But then i changed banks. And only "96th st s" was in their system.
And for some reason, amazon would no longer let me put the S first in delivery address, so i had no choice to use "96th st s".
Then they started using their own delivery service on me again. And the same problems happened again. Which is weird because Amazon's headquartered in Seattle. All the streets are numbered with a S, N, E, SE, NE, W, etc and it really doesn't matter if the street's direction comes before the number or after. So since they're headquartered in Seattle, They should know this already
Luckily since i moved to Pennsylvania, amazon logistics isn't in my area

Prime's movie lineup is arguably better than Netflix's.
I love the 2 day shipping and Amazon Music. I like getting books for a bit cheaper than the store. I am aware that I am part of the problem here. I also like 1 click purchase.
Don't like the troubling stories of their warehouse employees and possible bad conditions and wages.

I don't get the Prime music because I'm the household member of the main person's account
but it's not really needed when You can find any song on YouTube with one of those uploads by the artist's " - topic" page

alexa [although i don't have it nor do i need it] seems to be good PROVIDED YOU DON'T HAVE CHILDREN! [srsly, parents wake the eff up]
good: music: thanks for selling the song i want for either 1 dollar or 1.30. thanks. -- for the most part, selling everything under the sun.
bad: they are in fact the middle man. i have had [and other people have had the same exact problem] with season 6 part 1 of Melrose Place... with the case sending you season 6 part 2 disc 2 instead of 6-1-2. so you get the second half of the season and you end up with two sets of disc 2 of season 6.2 and none of disc 2 season 6.1. odd to say the least. comes to amazon like that. multiple people have had the same problem [exact == same disc same part of season, same disc number in season] and amazon can't do a thing about it other than graciously accept our returns for an otherwise unreturnable item.
i guess selling an episode of a tv show is kind of cool if you have no interest in the show other than your brother in law made a guest appearance on some Law and Order episode and you think that is the greatest thing since sliced bread. however, this is the only way you can buy episodes NON in dvd form.

I'm not a prime member, just a regular customer.
I love the fact you can buy almost anything on Amazon. I've bought sheets, pillowcases, pillows, underwear, winter gloves, etc. For Xmas 2017 I got a floor lamp from Amazon, and it was a marvel of compact packaging.
But mostly what I buy from them are audio CDs. I buy albums by obscure bands, and Amazon's selection can not be beat.

The owner is really the world's richest person?
Kind of makes me want to stop using Amazon now.

There product review system is the worst...
For Example: We know that the Original Trilogy Films for the Star Wars Franchise has been released, what seems like 50 times, on home video since 1983: Beta, VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray, and probably 4K ( or will soon be )... Lets say, you try to by one of the DVD versions that contains: "Empire Strikes Back", and this may be a single movie release, and not a trilogy release... All the product reviews for all the (Beta, VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K) releases that have ever been created for the Amazon Database... Appear on the page for the single DVD release of "Empire Strikes Back", even the trilogy packs...
So it is very hard to find product reviews, for JUST the specific product that you are actually trying to buy... And that makes it hard to tell if that movie has a good rating for something like: a good video transfer...

There product review system is the worst... UGHH!!!!! IT IS too many stupid dumb asses abuse the review system. Too many people use the review system to complain about 1. how they never received the item 2. How the dvd or blu-ray isn't region compatiable when they clearly bought an import from a 3rd party seller 3. complain about the 3rd party seller I mean, look at the reviews for this toy story trilogy UK region 2 PAL format set www.amazon.com/Complete-Toy-Story-Collection-Requires/dp/B0042FZOFK/ref=tmm_dvd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr="was sent different region", "didn't work", "Wasn't compatible" when there is clearly a warning stating it's region 2. Good Lord people are stupid

I don't like how it's taking over the world and their warehouse staff are still treated like shit.
I do like the Kindle app and have just downloaded a ton of free/cheap old books I'll probably never read. The Amazon 5 star reviews on How Did This Get Made can sometimes be awesomely insane.

There product review system is the worst... One thing I don't like about the reviews on Amazon is that there are a lot of reviews (even "Verified Purchase" reviews) that say, "I received this item at no cost (or at a discount) in exchange for my unbiased review." Sometimes almost all the reviews on an item say something like that, and the rating is high because they can't really be unbiased if they got it for free. They can try to be unbiased, but someone who paid for something will have a different point of view than someone who didn't have to pay anything (e.g., "I can't believe I threw away $10 on this" vs. "It's not bad for something that was free").

Oh, I don't think it's much of a debate. Netflix this selection is not very good at all for movies, which is bizarre because for years when they were mail only you could pretty much find anything you wanted.

I LOVE Amazon. My Wifey and I have had an account on the site for just over a decade now and we have got literally hundreds of albums, movies, TV shows, music DVDs and videos, books, graphic novels, arts, crafts, pet toys, jigsaw puzzles and cross stitch kits on there for very cheap prices over the years and one of the main things I love about Amazon apart from the cheap prices is it has a lot of albums and movies we can't get here unless we get them imported which often ends up costing three times the price. ![](https://s21.postimg.org/8cz4jdrk7/Clefairy.png)

I think you should have the option to disable the comment section on reviews because some people just like to borderline harass other people. Ugh! And second, it would be nice if Amazon accepts PayPal payments.
