I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie, are they holding up in sequels? The Lost World got mixed reviews, Jurassic Park 3 got negative reviews, and I found it interesting that Jurassic World got pretty decent reviews but earned a lot of backlash from audiences. Being a fan of the original and the books and a dino nerd as a kid, I like all of them.

It's freaking ALIENs for kids.

Night from the very start? I get the joke but at least Bayona can direct outside his comfort zone better than Shyamalan's sorry ass.

Yes, I like this image. I know Jurassic World wasn't the greatest movie, but I sure had fun in the theater watching it. Hopefully they can improve on the first one and give us an even better time at the theater.

This gives me hope also, that "Jurassic World 2 Is going Darker"
Jurassic III the Pterodactyls scenes are still very cool.

Haven't seen Jurassic World but the premise of a full functional dinosaur park is what I expected the first movie to be based on merchandise and comparisons to West World. The third movie was the most dino fun to me, but they always scrimp on the FX like they did with the ending when the marines show up. A To think there was a time when a kid wasn't an automatic given in a dinosaur movie, but Doug McClure was.

I actually want this film series to go seriously dark and the dinosaurs take over the Earth. An end-of-man scenario by the time this second trilogy wraps up. Last shot we should see as the final credits roll on the entire JP hexalogy is of the dinosaurs (or a dinosaur) roaming the abandoned streets of a major city like NYC or LA or something.

I think it would be great for them to go dark. Maybe eat the lady with the high heals?
The thing is that they will only go so dark because they need that PG-13 rating because of, well, money. They made so much money because it was a 4 quadrant film. Everyone went to see this thing. Probably won't make as much money as the first, but it will make a lot, that is for sure.

I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie, are they holding up in sequels? In my personal opinion, the first is the best and a really great movie. The second one is very good as well and totally underrated in my opinion. The only thinh I don't like about that movie is Malcolms daughter. JP3 felt unimportant, was too short and neither the characters nor the story were as good as the previous films. The film isn't terrible, the special effects are good and it works as a fun dinosaur movie - not so much as the 3rd movie in the franchise. Now Jurassic World is considered the best sequel (not by me, but by many people). It has very good action, characters are better than in 3 and it has some cool ideas. Tne open park was also a great idea. But it overall feels a bit overblown and the effects aren't always that great. Fun, but has a totally different feel than the old movies. So JP: great movie, you could call it a masterpiece JP2: Good sequel with great action, that has a good balace between fun and dark, but has minor problems JP3: Feels a bit trashy, not a good sequel. But works as a fun dinosaur movie JW: Some great ideas, some not so great ideas. Feels a bit strange in the franchise, but is fun.
