I wasn't expecting this so early. Maybe it's not that early.
Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies. Lost World was fair, hated JP3, enjoyed Jurassic World. I do want to see this one.

I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie, are they holding up in sequels? In my personal opinion, the first is the best and a really great movie. The second one is very good as well and totally underrated in my opinion. The only thinh I don't like about that movie is Malcolms daughter. JP3 felt unimportant, was too short and neither the characters nor the story were as good as the previous films. The film isn't terrible, the special effects are good and it works as a fun dinosaur movie - not so much as the 3rd movie in the franchise. Now Jurassic World is considered the best sequel (not by me, but by many people). It has very good action, characters are better than in 3 and it has some cool ideas. Tne open park was also a great idea. But it overall feels a bit overblown and the effects aren't always that great. Fun, but has a totally different feel than the old movies. So JP: great movie, you could call it a masterpiece JP2: Good sequel with great action, that has a good balace between fun and dark, but has minor problems JP3: Feels a bit trashy, not a good sequel. But works as a fun dinosaur movie JW: Some great ideas, some not so great ideas. Feels a bit strange in the franchise, but is fun. Thank you for your impressions about all the movies.

nice framing, but reminds me more of those night at the museum films. Hah! Good call. Perhaps that's the twist. The skeletons come alive and save the day by fighting the military grade dinos! that would be the greatest motion picture of all time.

I hated Jurassic World. The suspension of disbelief went too far in that movie. But dammit I will probably be at this one opening night again.

I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie, are they holding up in sequels? JP II I didn't like at all--JP III was an improvement, mostly because of the pterodactyl scenes

You can't beat the original...
That scene where Alan Grant found those raptor eggs was great 🐊

I actually want this film series to go seriously dark and the dinosaurs take over the Earth. An end-of-man scenario by the time this second trilogy wraps up. Last shot we should see as the final credits roll on the entire JP hexalogy is of the dinosaurs (or a dinosaur) roaming the abandoned streets of a major city like NYC or LA or something. If not the whole planet, at least certain section of should become quarantined zones. I definitely want to see some kind of outbreak scenario.

I like them all except maybe Juarassic Park 3. That was definitely the weak link of the series.
Obviously the first is a classic. The Lost World had its problems but I always thought people were too harsh on it and yeah I do think Jurassic World is definitely the best of the sequels.
Jurassic Park 3 just felt...Lacking and small compared to the scale of the others.
