there was one incorrect item posted, Spider -- wanted you to check. It was the wrong title (THE FOUNDER, not KROCK). Kijii posted it correctly. Oh, dang! I knew that, just put it down wrong. Stupid, stupid! No need to be so hard on yourself, Spider. You made one error today -- I made 27 !! I'd say you did a great job -- especially considering that you're still a bit under the weather.

Whew! Some tough callls! One outstanding leader and a three way tie!
I did not experience any trouble using IMDB. IS IT TRUE THEY ARE REBUILDING THE CHARACTOR AND QUOTE DATA BASES? That. Would be great!
Thanks Matt. Stuck indoors with sub zero windchill, snow and dripping pipes. Perfect day for a Garth Game!

I was getting server down errors for about a half hour, but whe I did get in, I found that I was able to click on a character name and get some quotes, but obviously that was not saying that the project is complete. I do have hope, but they took a very inopprtune time to be doing ther update. Earlier in the contest would not have slowed me down as I knew many without looking them up, but I couldn't remember who played Mrs. Edison.

Great game, Matt and everyone. Thanks for the fun. I have to go now. See you next time. Oh, and about HACHI, Matt: yes, it was a true story, based upon the original Japanese film. Per wikipedia, "The film, directed by Seijirō Kōyama, is a tragic, true story about Hachikō, an Akita dog who was loyal to his master, Professor Ueno, even after Ueno's death." Adios, everyone!! Thanks for that update, Spider -- good to know.

fwiw ... had 12 additional "beaten by the clocks" and several that I knew but they had already been taken when I flew in...so not hanging my head as the sole "Participant" this time.

I also counted your 'beatens' -- actually there were 13!! With any luck you might have kicked out a couple of players while assuming DDC status yourself, Bat.

Nice job, Staccato! Well, despite stumbling and bumbling my way through this Game, I had a great time. Thank you, Matt. I've always had trouble following instructions. You wouldn't believe the trouble I get into at work. That thing in Hawaii the other day? That was me. So, a Double Mea Culpa with Cheese to everyone here and thanks again to the QM for accepting my sloppy answers. Alex Trebek would never do that.

I'm a very gentle QM Even-tempered and good-natured Whom you never hear complain Who has the milk of human kindness By the quart in every vein A patient man am I Down to my fingertips The sort who never could, never would Let an insulting remark escape his lips Just a very gentle QM
But -- let a Jervis in my game And patience hasn't got a chance I will stipulate the rule Give examples calm and cool Jerv will enter very nicely Then go out and post precisely Whatever Jervis wants! _____________________________
