Via today's Collider Movie Talk show on Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iKiJXJMXGcSchnepp claims to have heard that Tom Holland will in some way shape or form be in the Venom solo movie. He doesn't claim to have full details on how exactly he'll be in the film whether it's a cameo, post credits scene, or what have you. But he is claiming to have heard that Tom Holland will indeed be in Venom as Peter Parker. He also said this on Twitter in regards to what he said.

Dear God, Venom is in the MCU? This is not good at all. Don't like that? The biggest complaints I've heard in regards to the Venom movie was because it wouldn't have Spider-Man in it. Do you have a different issue with it? The more I hear about it the more excited I've gotten honestly.

Dear God, Venom is in the MCU? This is not good at all. I doesn't matter. This is a desperate attempt to legitimize this abortion Sony calls the Venomverse. There can be no Venom without Spider-Man. It just doesn't make sense so I'm not surprised.

Probably camera footage or a television appearance.

By adding Holland's Spiderman into this movie it will be canon. I dont like other studios meddling. It will be fucking up the Universe. At least thats what I fear.

Keep in mind that before Spidey was able to appear in the MCU they had to come together and agree on it. Speculation at the time was the exclusive rights to Spider-Man games on the PS4, but there could have been more to the deal than we realized.

I just Wish Spiderman was pulled out of the mcu and only in the Sonyverse Why? That doesn't make any sense. It's petty and unnecessary. If anything, why not let both studios use the character and see which one gets further?

I just Wish Spiderman was pulled out of the mcu and only in the Sonyverse ?? They had their shot with the Amazing series which people turned away from. The MCU and the Sonyverse are one now for better or worse.

I just Wish Spiderman was pulled out of the mcu and only in the Sonyverse You have no idea what Sony is trying to do, don't you? They don't necessarily want to compete with Marvel Studios they want to make movies that can capitalize on the success of the MCU and make people believe Venom and Silver and Black are in the same universe even if they are not wholly developed by Marvel proper. That's why Tom Holland is rumored to cameo in Venom, so they can trick the masses into thinking its in continuity with the larger MCU and potentially gain more profit out of it.

Yeah, Kevin Feige has kinda confirmed that is what they are doing.

I just Wish Spiderman was pulled out of the mcu and only in the Sonyverse After how The Amazing Spider-man ended up I think he's in the right hands for now. Spider-man Homecoming was the best one since Spider-man 2 and he should be along with Iron Man and all the others.

As far as thenewnexus is concerned Homecoming is the worst Spider-Man film ever made and they hate it for having humor, in their opinion Spider-Man should be a totally serious character and have a totally serious film where everybody is serious and dealing with depression with hardcore violence sprinkled throughout with Kat Dennings playing multiple roles. They want a movie closer to TASM 2, which in their eyes is a "totally serious movie".

It wouldn't really suit him to have an overly serious movie just like it wouldn't for a Batman movie to be overly humourous (except for the Lego one).
