Some will say by using digital cameras it took the feel and tone away. Others think the writing is crappy. I disagree with both statements. Mind you its not as good as seasons 1-7 but still slightly better then 8 and 9 (which I also like).

I think it easily had 2 of the worst episodes of the series. I think I only really liked 2-3 episodes of the season and I did not like the forced "hand off" to the new agents that were supposed to be clones of Mulder and Scully.

The biggest problem is that it completely rewrote the main plotline. There was a feature film about it for Pete's sake. The Alex Jones thing was a fun touch but it should have done it while keeping the original story intact. The series honestly felt like a first draft.
I didn't mind Babylon.

It was the kind of bad where you laugh out loud and then get depressed.

It was incredibly disappointing. Mostly because of the two My Struggle bookends (1st/last episodes) that were written by series creator Chris Carter. And don't even get me started about Babylon. Founder's Mutation and Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster were the only highlights for me. The rest reeked of something foul.

Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster made producing the entire 10th season worthwhile. Darin Morgan is a freaking genius. I wish he would work more. Jose Chung's From Outer Space is STILL the best hour of television of all time.

Many of the others episodes, I felt like the guys from Mystery Science Theater while heckling the episodes. Babylon would be a good choice for MST3000 (coming soon to Netflix)

Babylon would be a good choice for MST3000 (coming soon to Netflix) Ya got that right! That episode was Facepalm Avenue. The other bad episodes were the side street boardwalk. The 2 good episodes were the high-rise without the multi-stories. I liked Mulder and Scully meet the Were-Monster the best followed by X-files version of X-men (Founders Mutation) and I didn't hate Home Again. But the others were pretty bad

I love the X-Files and I liked season 10. I just wish they hadn't ended it on a cliffhanger not knowing if they'd be able to make more episodes.

The "were-monster" episode was hilarious. Probably the very best.

I loved the stand alone episodes, but did not like the mythology ones. It was better than season 9 at least.

I only liked Home Again, it was the only one that felt like a classic X-Files episode. I hated Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster. I never liked episodes of that kind in the original show and this one was even worse.

I liked it. Had some ups and downs but overall I give it a pass on the pass/fail grading system.
The Were-Monster episode was hands down the highlight of the season and one of the best TV episodes I've seen in a while. I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it.

I thought it was terrible. It looked like a cheap remake and it seemed the writers forgot what they had already written in the past seasons. Even the comedy episode was not on par with the old comedy episodes.

I liked the stand alone episodes. The mythology episodes, less so.

I didn't like it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. Seasons 1-9 were much better.
