Can you think of any that don't have any kind of music, not even a song on the car radio or something?

The films of Robert Bresson are extremely light on music. Later in his career he would only include it if it existed within the world of the film (i.e. a radio). Not sure if any of his movies have no music at all, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Ah, but “not having a score” is different from “not having any kind of music.” Neither Dracula nor Frankenstein, for example, has a score (and I think it works in both movies’ favor, in fact), but Drac does have music over the opening credits and in the scene in which everyone’s at Swan Lake. Other than the opening credits, though, I can’t think of any music in Frank.

I think Hitchcock's The Birds counts.

politicidalThat’s why I’m not sure about what @nxnwrocks is requesting. The Birds doesn’t have a score, but there are characters who play music in it—so there is music. The scarcity of music and lack of a score, however, also work in its favor, I’d argue.

@nxnwrocks "Yesterday's Enemy" (1959) www.imdb.com/title/tt0053458/Great war movie set in the Burmese jungle. No music from start to finish. It's not missed either.

Apparently there's a subtle tone during the coin-toss scene at the gas station, but otherwise nothing.

The Seven Samurai I think?
Movies without scores tend to drag a little.
Dracula especially.

In addition to Cloverfield, pretty much all found footage movies (Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity, etc).
