The other two not so well-liked Ghostbusters films, the only sequel to the universally beloved original and the extremely divisive 2016 reboot. Which of the two do you prefer?
GB2 and it's not even a contest. Always thought it was a great sequel and I enjoy it as much as the original. I never understood the backlash for it. The reboot wasn't as bad as expected but not good, either. It had potential and even some okay moments but overall was heavily bogged down by the immature jokes and flat humor, insulting stereotypes of both genders, non-threatening lead villain and very cartoony visuals. A movie I forgot about right after I saw it. GB2 for me is just as enjoyable and memorable as the first.

I didn't exactly hate it, I was just so indifferent to it. Not bad and not good, just there occupying space.

Ghostbusters 2016 is probably one of the WORST films of all time, shit I rather watch Saving Christmas.

I wouldn't say it's one of the worst movies ever, but for me it was all-around forgettable.

Oh well :/
I "like" both on about the same level, both are unneccessary, mediocre and uninspired follow ups to a fun idea. Both have different problems. Whoever claims the reboot is one of the worst films of all times cannot be taken seriously and/or must be considered as mentally unstable.
lol dude you can un-like it by hitting like again...? It's just like real life.

GB2 is the first one I remember watching as a kid and looking back on it, its great. I prefer it to the original. The villain is terrifying and taken seriously which enhanced the urgency. I also liked the angle when the mayor locks up the Ghostbusters and when the city has no othrt hope they have to free them.
Ive not seen 2016 and have zero interest in ever watching it.

Ghostbusters II easily. To be completely honest, while I enjoy the original I never thought it was the great classic that it was made out to be, and I never thought the sequel was anywhere near as bad as it was made out to be.

To be fair, I've only seen the trailer and cinemasins video for the reboot, but I would still pick Ghostbusters II. It's not particularly great - the boys don't do enough in the way of action and the ending seems rushed. But I think it's probably the better of the two.

Definitely Ghostbusters II. Didn't like the reboot much at all and I didn't jump on the bandwagon to immediately loathe it either. Everyone is just doing SNL schtick, the effects aren't that good, and the villain is a complete afterthought.

The villain barely even qualifies as a character, he was just there. So ridiculously underdeveloped to the point he had no personality or character at all.

I wouldn't say it's one of the worst movies ever, but for me it was all-around forgettable. It is, shitty acting, shoddy CGI, cringe worthy humor... Shit, this is our generation's manos: The Hands of Fate.

The cartoony CGI took me out of it a few times, and definitely agree about the lowbrow and immature humor. Missed the mark as to what made the first two work.

part 2 will always have a few or more scenes that harken back to the original.
