10/10. Oliver Stone at his most Oliver Stone.

If any of it is true or not, it's still a well made movie.

If it were simply a political thriller, I'd give it an 8/10. However, in that it purported to present actual history, I have to cut two points.
6/10.

8/10. Historical inaccuracies and embellishments aside, it's a really good film with some good performances from the cast, fine editing, and an ever true message of questioning the government.

The truth may have been stretched a bit, but Stone's heart is in the right place, and he made a great film.

I read the book that this was adapted from and it's pretty true to the book. Jim Garrison had some pretty good theories on it and there are major inaccuracies in the Warren Report not to mention that it can't be mere coincidence that key witnesses would suffer sudden heart attacks, accidents, or other happenstances that took them off the count. I certainly don't believe Oswald was the lone shooter but I also don't believe he was quite the patsy he was made out to be in this film. I've been to Dealy Plaza and as was pointed out in the film, it didn't make sense to wait to shoot from the window until Kennedy's car was driving down Elm. There is a straight on shot with the car coming up Houston St. And the Magic Bullet theory doesn't add up either but let's just say it did what it did. How did it end up, completely pristine, on a stretcher neither Kennedy or Connally were on? So, judging by the number of injuries(7 in total IIRC), there's no way it would be pristine. My theory is that Kennedy was killed by the military industrial complex.
