Huh? I don't watch Discovery any more, so I'm a little in the dark, but wasn't Lorca shown to be sensitive to all light, no matter the source? And this was taken to imply that he is a Mirror guy? I think the assumption there was that the prime universe ship allows more natural light into the ship hence the existence and use of shutters in the mirror universe equivalent. Not sure. But it was definitely implied that it was natural light that was the problem. That doesn't really make sense. But it's Discovery, so it's to be expected.

Again - if the Mirror universe is one universe in a multiverse, then there literally any possible combination of events happens somewhere in one of them. This happens to be one in which events parallel our own but with a moral inversion. There's a universe without shrimp, too, and one with only shrimp. No more unlikely than any other universe. Good Buffy reference! Wondered if anyone would notice...
