SKOL SKOL SKOL
Ha Ha seriously? I have never heard this ridiculous chant before this weekend. I heard they have been perfecting it since 2016. All I have heard from Minnesota media today is how salty everyone is that they lost. Philly fans are apparently the scum of the Earth. Hey guys, we don't have trouble selling out playoff games. We actually have a city with rich culture and history. We actually have landmarks for you to deface, which you did. We would do it there in two weeks, but there are no landmarks there. Maybe the Mall of America? I keep hearing how Eagles fans are going to get 'beat up' when they show up there. I am sure all 12 fans can get pretty rowdy, but we will be okay. How about you get mad at your pathetic team for putting up a pathetic performance? That is what we would be doing this week if the situations were reversed. I saw Vikings fans spitting at Eagles fans, cursing at Eagles fans, destroying property, getting arrested, etc. Yet, somehow, all you have been hearing about are the dumb Eagles fans throwing things. I am sure there were dumb Eagles fans. Fans get stabbed outside of Raiders games. Fans get shot outside of Dodgers games. Cities get burned down when the Lakers win. Somehow, though, Philly is the worst. We threw snowballs at a drunk and belligerent Santa over 60 years ago. Stop the presses. Get a life, losers.

You know Philadelphia fans have a reputation for being some of the worst in sports, right? Whenever I travel and have conversations about the worst people, Philly always comes up first. It has nothing to do with booing Santa or even sports-- it has to do with their awful attitude. I've heard the people in Jacksonville thought Eagles fans were unbearable the entire week of Super Bowl 39.
What I can tell you from personal experience is my time in Minnesota has been enjoyable and my time in Philly has been considerably less so. I think most people you talk to will share that opinion. And hey, I'm sure there will be some rowdy idiots rooting for the Patriots, too. But if you're a Philadelphia fan, you really don't want to start a conversation about classless fan bases.

They celebrated waaayyyyy too early after that Saints win. My jaw dropped. It was astonishing to me. I can't imagine being a fan there during the offseason. It was all there for the taking. A Super Bowl at home. I wonder how popular these are today:

A Super Bowl at home. I wonder how popular these are today: Starving African kids will be wearing those shirts in two weeks. Every Big 4 city has its share of mostly civil fans and rowdy not so civil fans. Minneapolis is the size of one of our suburbs so of course there will be more of the bad ones here. But it's idiots like Cowherd and the national media that keep perpetuating the stereotypes. We are passionate, just like New York and Boston and Chicago and Detroit, cities with just as many good and bad people as there are here.

And that was after they won! What would've happened if they lost? Oh my god, an old man dropping the f bomb. That couldn't POSSIBLY happen in any other city on earth. Seriously, if you were on fire on a New York City street corner, the people wouldn't even cross the street to piss your flames out. Philly is a big city just like every other big city.

Bradshaw leading the Birds fans to 'Fly Eagles Fly' was great - he tried to cut them off - they weren't having it. (Videos been disabled by the NFL - but those who watched it - it was epic)
Haven't been this happy since the Phils playoffs runs from 2008-2011 and the Flyers Stanley Cup run in 2010. (I don't think a lot of fans think March Madness counts so I'll leave that out)
There's many beautiful parts to the city. Rich in culture, terrific universities, a ton to do for every age group, very diverse, great nightlife and terrific food - not far from the beach and not far from the mountains. Perfect spot.
Like you said - there's good and bad people everywhere - for the most part a majority of Philly is passionate knowledgeable sports fans.

It's not an old man dropping an F bomb. It's a grown man holding up a sign that reads, "F-ck Millie," in reference to an old lady Vikings fan. The effort it took to make that sign, the bitterness required to motivate you to insult some random old lady from Minnesota, it's bizarre. I'm not saying he represents all Philly fans, but it isn't a good look. And again, there's a reason the stereotype exists, and isn't booing Santa. Remember Philly fans cheering like crazy when Michael Irvin got hurt? Hell, some dude for Atlanta got hurt and limped off early against you guys a couple weeks ago and there was an audible cheer when it happened. I know you're taking it personally because it's your team. You seem like a reasonable guy, I'm sure you wouldn't have made that sign. But Philly is just notorious for that kind of behavior. Remember this? www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/08/03/hitchhiking-robot-destroyed-philadelphia-ending-cross-country-trek/31051589/ Robots and old ladies, is nothing sacred to Philadelphians?

Missanelli (after talking about the city and the Super Bowl matchup) just went on an epic rant on 97.5 calling out Minnesota Sports Talk Show Hosts to call him up today for lazy weak journalism - apparently there's a ton of them focusing on what a dirtbag city Philly is instead taking ownership their team crapped its pants with a chance to go to the Super Bowl hosted by its own city - I really don't know how those players could go back there this week - talk about letting a region down. Apparently some 'invites' were sent out to their airwaves and there's been no return correspondence. Anywho - moving forward - on to winning the Super Bowl

And the ball was hit right to him, if anything he was protecting junior by catching that ball. Somebody get that guy a Father of the Year hat.

As one of the two resident Vikings fans here, I just want to say, I know you are but what am I? Any idea how many locals still plan on attending the game? I'm hoping those who do cheer against Philadelphia fiercely.

I've never liked the Patriots and can't root for them. Philly kicked our asses and deserve to be in the SB. Foles played lights out. I respect that. And I can dig an underdog story. Well that backfired, heh. I'm a Pats fan but I understand Pats hatred. It's all good, hope it's a good game.

Come on philly fans. For maybe the first time ever most of America is pulling for the eagles to win. Don't make us rethink it. No reason to bash the vikings. Bash the patriots instead.
