I always forget the Universal Monster series when I do these. probably because it's been so long since I last saw any.

Good to see you around too, I remember you from the IMDB boards Did you get around to watching the 'Children of the Corn' movies yet? There is a new 'Children of the Corn' movie on the way and I just started a new thread for it on the 'Now Playing and Upcoming' section and I am not too sure about it 'cause the last three movies have been disappointed but the first 6 movies are worth checking out and 4, 2 and 3 were my favs.

I still haven't seen them past the fourth one but I will, someday. I own the first one and quite like it, part 2 was good from my memory, also. Been too long since I last saw 3 and 4 and remember very little from them.

Been too long since I last saw 3 and 4 and remember very little from them. Children of the Corn 5 and 6 aren't as good as the first four movies in my opinion but they are worth checking out and 'Children of the Corn 666' has the return of Isaac (John Franklin) and is actually a sequel to the original movie that takes place around 20 years after the original movie with Hannah (who is the daughter of one of the original children) going to Gatlin to find her Mother. It was an okay movie but I was hoping they would have done more with Isaac and kept him in the series. The one movie I would urge you to avoid is 'Children of the Corn: Revelations.' It is basically a ghost movie that has nothing to do with the other movies in the series and a cash in on the 'Children of the Corn' name.

I make it a point to see every movie in a series no matter how bad some get, and COTC will certainly be no exception for me.

One series I've yet to see believe it or not is The Omen. my only real exposure to it has been some scenes I believe from the fourth made for TV movie which seems to be terribly received.

I'm assuming you mean the 1978 original?

Another series I remembered and one more obscure is Xtro. I've only seen the original, it's two sequels are totally unrelated despite the title as well as having the same director back. But the original is one of the weirdest movies ever and feels like an amalgamation of every weird, nonsensical dream you've ever had in movie form. Here's a sampling of just how incredibly bizarre and WTF this movie is (fair warning these may be fairly graphic and NSFW):
