I remember walking out of the theater after seeing Pan's Labyrinth in 2006, and my friend asked me what I thought and my reply was, "That was the best film I've ever seen."
He agreed that it was a great movie but that I was probably exaggerating from the excitement.
11 years later, my stance has not changed.

For me it's a tie between Casablanca and Wizard of Oz. I love Wizard of Oz so much that a few years ago I went to a Halloween party as Dorothy.

It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great films. But American Psycho is one of the best, most powerful films ever written about self-preservation and dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, metamorpheus, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message. Crucial, really. And it's beautifully stated on the film.

My absolute favourite movie of all time has to be The Warriors (1979), my brother taped it when it was showed on FilmFour (it also had the extended beginning with Cleon and his girlfriend) and I've loved the movie ever since. I know it off by heart. The Lost Boys (1987) would come a close 2nd, surprisingly that was also taped off FilmFour when I first watched it. Howls Moving Castle and Spirited Away would come joint 3rd.

Not really. Used to say Annie Hall for many years. Now probably Nashville, but for sheer watchability, Back to the Future. But Schindler's List is the best as far as I'm concerned.

Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Amadeus (1984) have been sorta tied for years as my favorites.

Well, since we can't mention trilogies, I would say Fight Club. And I would conclude my top 3 with The Fall and The blues brothers.

It's hard for me to choose just overall. I could do it with specific genre's what my favorite is but just overall with everything? It's really hard to choose. If I had a gun to my head I'd say Die Hard. But the rest of my top 3 would probably be Se7en and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. You could ask me a different day and the answer would most likely be different.
