Right now, they're consolidating their efforts on making themselves the premiere streaming service so they'll likely be buying out studios for content (I've heard talk that they're currently after Lions Gate) as they've already got the groundwork for streaming in place.
I'd imagine they'd whittle off some of Sony Pictures's properties next as they're still struggling despite big hits like Spiderman: Homecoming keeping them afloat.

I just hope Disney's streaming service includes some vintage (pre-1990s) material. I subscribed to Netflix a while ago and was disappointed by how little vintage content there is on it.

Netflix and Prime are both underwhelming services (in my opinion) if you just want to watch movies. Their original content is the primary draw to sign up. Disney would have a good shot at filling that niche but I suspect they also want to put emphasis on new productions to draw people in rather than just having a large catalog of films and dealing with all the rights issues that entails. Of course, they'll have all their classics on there (exclusively) so you're certain to get that, at least.

Half of the U.S. Box Office Top 10 this past weekend are Fox films. But of course Disney owns Fox so they're really Disney films.

While this gave me a laugh, it also bids me protest, on behalf of the mute Dwarf. Dopey was, yes, dopey. But he was also loving and lovable, and could even be brave on occasion.
Most important, he did not know how to tweet.

I said huge. Emphasis on huge. I know. Like I said, it's been going on for decades. Turner purchasing the MGM library is a good example. That was a huge deal. What is Turner? I dunno, Disney buying Fox seems like Coke buying Pepsi or Microsoft buying Apple or something. It does not seem like something that should happen. The Disney greed is getting way out of control.

And yet, it has happened many times. It's nothing new, and it's not limited to Disney.
