It's good enough.
at the end of the day... in terms of more blockbuster level movies, it's a proven series for me as all of them outside of the 2nd movie are amongst My Favorite Movies in general. it's not often a more high budget/blockbuster level movie pulls that off for me especially a series that's pretty stable in quality from movie-to-movie for the most part.
I prefer the series like this...
1.MI1 - 7.5-8/10
-.MI3
-.MI5
4.MI4 - 7/10
5.MI2 - 5/10 (Thumbs Down) (for the record... I was a huge fan of this at one point in the past)
so basically the 1st/3rd/5th movies are tied for me and MI4 in 4th and MI2 in 5th. given this info... I sorta expect ill get at least a 7/10 from MI6 as I was honestly surprised to see MI5 return to 7.5-8/10 level as prior to seeing it I kind of assumed it would be good but that scores beyond the 7/10 range were probably not coming back.
p.s. I don't know the exact percentage off the top of my head in terms of what movies amongst My Favorite Movies are 'blockbusters' or more of a higher budget range type of movie but I would imagine there is not too many. even taking a quick look I would say maybe something in the ball park of 40 movies or so out of 193 movies. or maybe call it something in the ball park of about 1/4th(25%) of My Favorite Movies or maybe a bit less like say 20% or so.
