I originally had this at a 8/10 but truth be told, I loved every minute of it so I'm going with a 9/10. It had heart, it was hilarious and I was grinning the entire time in the cinema.

7/10 - Not as great as Boogie Nights or Ed Wood, but funny and enjoyable.
I laughed hard when Tommy asked Judd Apatow: "You like Shakespeare?" then proceeded to scream: "STELLA!!!!" (Apparently getting Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams mixed up.)

I finished it a half hour ago. 8/10. The Francos did a splendid job.

8/10 I loved every minute of it So why not a 10/10? Because it’s not a 10/10 movie

Because it’s not a 10/10 movie Loving every minute of it doesn't mean it's a 10? Then what is?

Because it’s not a 10/10 movie Loving every minute of it doesn't mean it's a 10? Then what is? If I love every minute of it and it has artistic merit. I love every minute of TDA, but it's not really something I'd consider to be a great film.

How would you all rate The Room (2003)? 1/10 (could've been 0).

LOL. What's really so bad about it? I've never bothered It would be easier to list the good things about it. Why don't you watch it? It's considered to be a must-see (but for different reasons most movies are). Do a double feature with THE DISASTER ARTIST.

8/10 A great display of how a terrible filmmaker can make us feel sympathy for. Both Francos (esp James) were great in their roles too.
