And George Mills, the Spitfire pilot who is hailed as the hero of Dunkirk, has very little back up history. The Harbor Master, played by Kenneth Branaugh is actually credited with being the true hero of Dunkirk...
Interesting movie, but lacking in content.

I bought it on Blu-Ray awhile back. The Special Features are mind-boggling. Nolan worked his ass off and it's really incredible to see how he pulled it off.

Agreed though I probably enjoyed it more than how you painted it. I streamed it on New Year's Eve, my only viewing of it thus far. I'll not be buying a copy. |

Not yet, but I doubt it'll be able to capture the experience of seeing it in IMAX.

It's a pretty boring movie (I could not finish watching it due to boredom). so naturally it's not worth buying.

DON'T BOTHER...IT'S AWFUL!!!! I have it stored on computer as an example of how bad history can be depicted on movies. Stay with the B & W 1958 Jonhn Mills verson instead.
