Looks fun, seems as though they kept the same spirit as the original (I know that will be a point of derision for the DC fanboys, "Oh my god it has humor!)

Ghost looks cool af. As Marvel's designated loss leader, Ant-Man and The Wasp will likely be as good as a really good Netflix movie.

2.35:1 aspect ratio? That’s disappointing...

The titles are super sexist. Ant-Man's name comes above the Wasp's which implies they aren't seen as equals. The gender politics is all over the place!

It'll be nice as a palate cleanser after IW, but I don't understand how the world is just operating as normal after the apocalypse that Thanos will surely bring? Does it take place before IW despite a later release date?

I think I'm in the minority in that I loved Ant-Man. This looks promising. Good to see Giant Man will be back

Yeah, it's really the only way this can work. I don't know why they didn't just switch places. I know Avengers usually gets the May slot, but you're making your money either way so just release them in order.

There is nothing in theaters. I think they wanted to release BP in February, otherwise I'd suggest releasing Ant-Man & the Wasp there, then BP in May, then IW in July. Is anything going to challenge IW no matter when you release it? Even at the height of summer it would eat everything around it alive.

The first film also came out in July, and did really well, so it makes sense for Marvel to release the sequel in July as well. The big Marvel movies always get released in the first weekend in May, and the smaller Marvel movies get released in July or another month.

The big Marvel movies always get released in the first weekend in May, and the smaller Marvel movies get released in July or another month. Normally that would make perfect sense, but with a movie as huge as IW it makes more sense to tell the story in a linear fashion. It's confusing to casual fans (if there is such a thing with the MCU anymore) to have a film come out two months later while taking place before the previous film in the series. Of course I'm only making an assumption that it takes place before IW; it would almost be worse if it didn't. A lighthearted romp like this shouldn't be taking place soon after half the world has been destroyed and we've lost a bunch of our beloved characters. I'm sure it'll be fine, it's just a viewing preference nitpick.

It looks ok, if it wasn't an MCU movie it's not something I'd be interested in. It doesn't look bad it anything but I can't say I'm that bothered with this one.
Also the Hello Kitty Pez thing seems like the same kinda joke as the Thomas the Tank Engine scene except not as funny.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this was the first MCU sequel to perform worse than the original.
I'll definitely go see it though.
