What are some films/TV that you'd like to see, but cannot?
For example, I'd like to watch My Lady of the Cave (1922), a silent film from New Zealand, but although it survives it isn't on home video.
I'd also like to view the Australian TV special Leontyne Price Recital (1957), featuring the African-American opera singer, but while a copy survives it hasn't been digitised.
How about you? Any films/TV you'd like to see but are unable to see?

I haven't been able to see Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. since it moved to 10 pm on Tuesday nights. This is because I have to wake up super early to catch two buses to get to my volunteer gig at the Elmwood Park Zoo each Wednesday. I'm also too old fashioned to watch it via On Demand.

Porgy and Bess "The Gershwin family was dissatisfied with the film, largely because it was not staged as a true opera with all the recitative performed musically, and also because the two leads had their singing voices dubbed. The film's original director, Rouben Mamoulian, wanted to film on-location, but producer Samuel Goldwyn refused and insisted on using soundstages. When a mysterious fire broke out and destroyed the sets, Mamoulian again requested that the film be made on-location. Enraged, Goldwyn felt that Mamoulian was taking advantage of a misfortune, promptly fired him, and hired Otto Preminger, who made the film on soundstages in Hollywood. The film is currently (Nov. 2002) withheld from release because of actions by both the Gershwin and Goldwyn estates, as neither Samuel Goldwyn nor the Gershwin family were satisfied with the film. " still un-released

Those live Playhouse 90s and other anthology series that were made before any form of taping of programs was used.

There is one particular movie I've never been able to see; it's an action thriller called The Farmer (1977). For starters, I was too young to see it in the theater when it first came out. It's never been released on any home video format of any kind, and I've never seen it anywhere in a TV schedule listing.
About a dozen years ago, the now-defunct Code Red label announced they were going to release The Farmer on DVD, but it never happened. Probably some unresolved issue with the rights. So this still remains the Holy Grail of action movies.

A Chinese film, that also premiered at the Cannes Film Festival... But despite also having an English language track, which featured several widely known actors/actresses... Including:
Mark Hamill, Peri Gilpin, Jean Simmons, Kellie Martin, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, & Michael Dorn.
...It never made it to American Theaters, and it was never released on Home Video.

I've seen every Best Picture nominee from 2017 back except for three. One is 1928 The Patriot (no relation to the Mel Gibson movie) which is lost. The other two are East Lynne (1931) and The White Parade (1934). Both exist but have never been released since their run. You can see them at the UCLA film library. If I ever get to LA...
The one I would most like to see is 1919's The Miracle Man. From what I've read and the three minutes that exist, it looked to be a remarkable film.

Stagecoach (1939)
I've never found it anywhere without it in some box set. I suppose I could 'rent' it online.

The whole 200 minute version of Billy Wilder's Private Life 0f Sherlock Holmes.
Impossible apparently as was heavily cut by studio bigwigs much to Mr Wilder's disgust. Some missing scenes are available on 'special editions' I gather but not enough remain to refit back into the theatrical release movie adequately.

The version of Jekyll and Hyde with Conrad Veidt A film starring Donald Pleasence called Creature of Comfort "According to script writer Laird Stuart the production company of "Creature of Comfort" had some financial problems and the film was confiscated by Canadian bank.It was never shown in the cinemas. The story is about a giant amoeba like creature that absorbed people when they used it on their beds as a comforter."
An Oliver Reed film made in Iraq in 1983, forgot the name.

Animated films that haven't been made widely available: The Invisible Child, Otogi's World Tour, The Magic Flute(Italian cutout animation), Cosmic Boy
Also, films that I know haven't been translated like The Cat's Windmill, The Four Secrets, and Legend of Sealed Book.
Aside from animation, I'd also like to see some of Ko Nakahira's films besides Crazed Fruit.
