those from Smashburger. ESPECIALLY their own Smash fries made with Italian olive oil, rosemary & garlic. Now I LOVE garlic but somehow those are the WORST. I just order the regular French fries instead which are frozen like McDonald's BUT nowhere near as GOOD. Five Guys fresh-cut, natural-cut (NON-frozen) French fries BEATS both of them. As does Good Times.

Five Guys is the only burger place that I go to where I do not order a side of fries.

There's still some CRUNCH in them and they have the BEST flavor. Of course as with ALL fries, one ONLY needs to add salt & pepper to them. Garlic IS optional IF you remember to bring your own along.

I have never had "gourmet' fries. Our father even refuses cheese on fries, and dad ruled the table growing up. I have had Rosemary and Olive oil potato chips and those are great.

I'm not a fan of Burger King's fries. There are probably worse out there, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
