BAMBI PART 2 anthropomorphizes the characters' personalities and lives while still keeping the slice-of-life format. The result is a plot that feels meandering. One could also say that about BAMBI but, in that case, it was understandable because it was trying to show the normal (sort of) life cycle of an animal. The 1st installment had very little dialogue, so most of the comedy was visual. It's the opposite here, which makes me doubt whether or not script writers Alicia Kirk, Brian Pimental and Jeanne Rosenberg had faith in the audience's ability to pay attention. Patrick Stewart's performance is good, but THE GREAT PRINCE (the title character's father) broke the record for most sighs in a movie. It annoyed me. 4/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog (in English, in Spanish or in Italian).
