Up here in Buffalo, we have Dyngus Day. It's a Polish holiday celebrated on Easter Monday. Traditionally, boys got to throw water over girls and spank them with pussy willow branches. And vice-verse. Now it's just a Polish pride parade (it's a source of pride if the parade doesn't get lost, old joke). I'm all for bringing the spankings back!
