Groundhog Day (1993)A movie that is watched as an annual event in some households. A movie that truly needs and deserves re-watching as it has a LOT to say.
It inspired this game and perhaps there are even more out there Movies (or TV shows) that feature GROUNDHOG DAY (or the repeat the day idea !) 01. Groundhog Day (1993) 02. Stork Day - An Italian television star who is filming a documentary in Tenerife relives August 13 over and over. Based on Groundhog Day 03. Day Break - TV series - Today Detective Brett Hopper will be accused of shooting state attorney Alberto Garza. He will offer his rock solid alibi. He will realize he's been framed. And he will run. Then he will wake up and start the day over again. 04. 12:01 - Office worker Barry Thomas is forced to relive the worst day of his life 05. Tru Calling - Tru Davies has the ability to relive days and save peoples' lives 06. Christmas Every Day - An American television movie based on William Dean Howells' 1892 short story "Christmas Every Day". A selfish teenager is forced to relive the same Christmas every day. 07. Run Lola Run 08. Edge of Tomorrow (Live! Die! Repeat!) 09. 12:01 PM - Short film starring Kurtwood Smith of a man repeating the same hour - preceded 12:01 and Groundhog Day 10. Winter (1930) in the last of the Silly Symphonies season cycle, bears hibernate (or try to), raccoons sneeze, moose swim, and pretty much everyone ice skates. Everyone gathers around the groundhog to see what happens. 11. The Last Day of Summer - 11-year-old Luke gets his wish that every day could be the last day of summer. 12. Source Code - Same simulation of a past event over and over 13. One Meat Brawl (1947) It's groundhog day, Grover Groundhog's big day - but it's also hunting season for Porky, and he's hunting groundhogs.

It's a great movie as-is but I wish Frank Capra had done it decades earlier.

In 'Dead End' (2003) a family road journey reaches a dead end and comes back on itself with serious consequences.

Groundhog Day makes me sad now, as it resulted in Bill Murray and Harold Ramis never speaking again.

Groundhog Day makes me sad now, as it resulted in Bill Murray and Harold Ramis never speaking again. Don't want to know SAD. It's the ACTUAL MOVIE that counts and parts of it require a handy box of Kleenex. BUT according to this ... it wasn't a NEVER thing : Bill Murray was undergoing a divorce at the time of filming, and was obsessing about the film. He would ring Harold Ramis constantly, often in the early hours of the morning. Ramis eventually sent Writer Danny Rubin to sit with Murray, and iron out all his anxieties, one of the reasons why Murray stopped speaking to Ramis for several years.

Sorry, strongly disagree. This is about Murray's ego. Bill and Harold had been friends for years. uproxx.com/movies/the-story-behind-bill-murray-and-harold-ramis-21-year-rift/

This is still America, right. RIGHT.........Please, someone, tell me that I'm right. Early SNL and SCTV are revered to me. Not that they couldn't all have some history behind them that might have involved the police. I grew up with their humor, and I wasn't kid. That's all.

"Movies To Watch on Groundhog Day"...um... Caddyshack, maybe. Odd that Bill Murray has made two movies with groundhogs and I can't think of a third! /cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/54089531/f673c97f2a2b61f46f74849b7abba6f5__a_caddyshack_themed_bar_in_caddyshack_gopher_meme_1278_1024.0.jpeg)
