In all seriousness, Philly sports are on the way up. The Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers have improved a lot and are finally going to be competitive for the next few years. I do not watch hockey so I cannot comment on the Flyers.

While I agree with the spirit of what you are saying, enough of the FEDS thing. It's a stupid nickname and Fultz sucks and doesn't deserve to be part of it even if it was a good nickname.

Fultz will OK. Brown came out and bashed ESPN and ESPN apologized for their comments regarding Fultz's injury (or lack of their knowledge) this past week. He's a 19 year old kid. I think his injury had a great effect on his head and mental stability and he put a lot of pressure on himself being the #1 pick and tried to play through it - and then tried to alter his shot trying to tough it out - and it effected his confidence being he couldn't play at 100%. You just don't lose a shooting touch like that. He's perfect for this team - and I think they see that - if they baby him right now - so be it - he's going to be incredible. Perfect compliment playing next to Simmons - which is why they drafted him. And the F.E.D.S will rule the NBA

Gabe Kapler is off to a horrible start. He has no idea how to manage a lineup or bullpen.

Did he really bat Nola in the opener when they were up 5-0 with runners on base and not pinch hit for him - and then proceed to not send him to the mound in the bottom of the inning when the Braves were up? He's been getting roasted in the media....... Just heard Morganti on the Morning Show on WIP going nuts the next day on some of his decisions - i.e. Herrera not in the starting lineup opening day either.....

He gave up a double in the 6th and got the next guy out and was pulled . Up 5-0 and only 68 pitches, Kapler pulled him. Yesterday, Kapler pulled Velasquez in the 3rd but he didn't have anyone throwing in the pen when he did so. It was embarrassing, the ump actually gave Milner some warm up throws because he was afraid of Milner being injured. I never seen a non-injury reason for a pitcher to be pulled without a pitcher warming up and I never seen an umpire give a reliever warm up throws in the middle of the inning for non-injury reasons. He has pulled Rhys Hoskins from the game twice already.

Thanks for showing what a prophet I was! 3 days after this thread was created the Eagles won the Super Bowl and 2 months later Villanova won the National Title!

Neither team is mentioned or showcased in that post. But the Sox won the World Series that year and the Patriots would go on to win the Super Bowl at the end of the 2018 season, so I guess it wasn't all bad for me either.
