See, now this is why the relegation of Witchy Woman and Vision Man to the sidelines is so awkward. They're the two most powerful Avengers by far, yet they're treated like the two least important. Why does Black Widow, a powerless spy get a more prominent role in their doings? It's kind of dumb. Innit? Overpowering your characters is always a bad, lazy idea. Look at DC and how inconsistent they are with Superman and WW and how the Flash has to constantly be made out to be an utter incompetent in the movies and his own TV show...his power kills all drama. True. Unless you use them for an appropriate story arc. Dr Manhattan is a great example of how overpowered characters can brilliantly serve a story. But you can't have characters like Witchy Woman and Vision Man just sit around and make soup. I hope they utilize them properly in Infinty Wars. Scarlet Witchy Woman deserves a better arc like the one they gave Dr Manhattan. Also... the full frontal nudity. She needs that too.

As for Wanda, she's only been in 2 movies so far. She wasn't terribly powerful in her first appearances in the comics either.

Probably true. But the MCU basically has him in the form of Vision Man so they should at least try to give him a compelling arc. As for Wanda, I can forgive her weak characterization in Cap 3 but they'd better pay special attention to her in Avengers 3. It's just plain dumb that a powerless spy gets a larger role in the team. Also, the thing about full frontal nudity- That one is a deal breaker.

But the thing about writing more for Widow is that...well, she's easier to write without losing the plot.

Also, she's an original member so they have to give her priority. I just find her increasingly boring, especially in the action scenes. They could've had Wasp Woman or Witchy Woman there from the start instead, but that's a moot point now.
