Hope this was a learning experience. As CC would say:
"Garth Game like first love -- teach many lessons."
Commentary to follow.

Boy, the Bonus Round was like "a needle in a haystack thing." I suppose I should have warned you about that in advance, Kijii -- too late now though. As CC would say: "Advice after Contest like medicine after dead man's funeral."

I had some free time and was going to play today, but I've never seen a Charlie Chan film. I know nothing at all about them. The only thing that came to mind was this exchange from the film "Gosford Park," which I'm posting for the amusement of those who enjoy film quotes. [Morris Weissman is asked about his upcoming movie project] Lady Sylvia McCordle: Mr Weissman. Morris Weissman: Yes? Lady Sylvia McCordle: Tell us about the film you're going to make. Morris Weissman: Oh, sure. It's called "Charlie Chan In London". It's a detective story. Mabel Nesbitt: Set in London? Morris Weissman: Well, not really. Most of it takes place at a shooting party in a country house. Sort of like this one, actually. Murder in the middle of the night, a lot of guests for the weekend, everyone's a suspect. You know, that sort of thing. Constance: How horrid. And who turns out to have done it? Morris Weissman: Oh, I couldn't tell you that. It would spoil it for you. Constance: Oh, but none of us will see it. Sending my best regards to Matt and all GG players, and my congratulations to the reigning champion, Julie. Bravo, Julie! Bravo! Du bist wunderbar!

May I also salute Son Number One: Keye Luke was actually born in China, in Guangzhou, so for once Hollywood got it right. One of the unknown greats!!!

Mick returns!!! The Prodigal son is welcomed back. Hoping to see you back here soon -- maybe at the next contest. You have been sorely missed. Another great take on Chan is Peter Sellers as 'Sidney Wang' in MURDER BY DEATH. "Conversation like television set on honeymoon -- unnecessary."
