I like colors, I like gaudiness, I like busy designs, etc. Most guys have really, really boring, "conservative" tastes when it comes to clothing though. Look at the friggin boring as hell suits that politicians, executives etc. wear. But there's no more consistency. Any team can wear any color or design on any given night. Its anarchy! ANARCHY I TELL YOU! |

Yeah, I'd agree that consistency is important. Indeed! I like alternates, but not with completely random designs and colors. I just hope the MLB doesn't start doing this. i think 'variations' of colors are blasphemy too. colors should mean something.     |

I'm not a Lakers fan by any means- but seeing them in some random alternate with a new design and colors other than purple and yellow really made me cringe. |

The NFL has been going through this as well. I can only assume the clothing line sponsor came up with a plan to sell more jerseys and the owners are pushing it because money. I don’t mind it if it’s a special occasion or something. But randomly it just lacks any luster. these are the TWolves jerseys they've been wearing:  Yeah, I saw those when they played the Raptors last month(?). Looks like a f'n EPL clash uni. Get off my lawn, yet I think GSW's The Town is the most hipster thing ever. |
