I bought Pepsi 'real sugar' while it was on shelves last summer. Cleaner, sharper flavour, less syrupy texture. I'll buy Pepsi again once they bring those back for me. I mean, I consider it 'voting with my wallet' in the purest form... I'd look on the shelves if it came back (it was off/on for about 5mos) & shrugged if it wasn't there like Pepsi didn't want my money that day.

Hopefully it stays. I like that logo more than the one they've been using.

The 2000s logo is my favorite. I like this one a lot too though. The 2010s logo is pretty dull.

There is one problem... it's still Pepsi.
it simply tastes too sweet(I don't like it), Coca-Cola is far better as it's just right.
p.s. for the record... I am 38 years old and I have been drinking Mountain Dew/Coca-Cola for a good portion of my life span on a day-to-day basis (basically if I am eating food chances are ill be drinking one of those two drinks with it a large portion of the time) as those two are easily my Top 2 I stick with in the long term. for a alternative once in a while... ill mix it up and get some Dr Pepper. but I noticed just alternating between Coke/Mtn Dew helps ensure I don't tire of either. I don't venture outside of those three drinks much as something like 'Sprite', for example, I noticed if I have a little of that here and there it's fairly good (it's definitely the best of it's type) but once I attempt to drink it on a regular basis I noticed I get tired of it quickly which is why I don't bother with it much anymore. I generally buy 2-liters of Mtn Dew/Coke and occasionally Dr Pepper.

Then I got burned out on that and went back to Pepsi. Having said that my main drink of choice is Code Red Mountain Dew.

theshape25Maybe your sort of like me... you need two to alternate between so you don't get tired either one hell, even if I started drinking say only Coke or only Mountain Dew, I would not get tired of either for quite some time. I would guess I could go at least weeks of drinking only Mtn Dew or only Coke without starting to become mildly burned out but even then I could simply switch to the other and all is good again. but I think even if i had to stick with Coke or Mtn Dew for say 3-4 months, I don't think it would be too much of a problem for me simply because I know those two are always going to be better then pretty much everything else if I had to do the same as I feel only Dr Pepper is close to Mtn Dew/Coke for me in that I am pretty sure I could drink that for quite a while to but outside of those three, I would likely burn out pretty quickly of all other drinks. That's one thing I never cared for. the only good Mountain Dew variation is the original one. everything else is not even close in my mind as no one can come close to copying Mountain Dew's taste as I think people come closer to copying that general cola taste, like Coke, than they do Mountain Dew. with that said... don't get me wrong, no one had cloned the Coke taste either, it's just that you can tell the variations of Coke are closer in taste to Coke than the variations of Mtn Dew are to Mtn Dew. I have even tasted Dr Pepper clones and those are much closer to Dr Pepper taste than the clones of Mtn Dew are. whoever made the Mtn Dew formula must have made something quite unique because no one else can come close to cloning that taste. so while Pepsi apparently sells more than Mtn Dew... most people I know drink Dew but not Pepsi even though I think I do know some people who either drink Pepsi or Diet Pepsi. but based on my sisters wedding etc a while ago it's apparent that Coke was clearly the preferred drink when it came to Coke vs Mtn Dew as when the wedding was done I think all of the Coke was gone but we still had a fair amount of Mtn Dew left. but I guess that should not have been too surprising considering Coke is the worlds #1 pop(or soda as some call it). looking around online it appears the Top 10 sellers are... 1.Coca-Cola Classic (i.e. Coke) (NOTE: I can't believe they messed with this formula in the 1980's with 'New Coke' as they had to be out of their mind to mess with their original formula. but apparently that did not last long before they returned to the original formula, thank God. whoever did this should have been fired.) 2.Diet Coke 3.Pepsi 4.Mountain Dew 5.Dr Pepper 6.Sprite 7.Diet Pepsi 8.Diet Mountain Dew 9.Fanta 10.Diet Dr Pepper with that said... I don't know how anyone drinks diet as it tastes like crap and looking at that list it seems my general preferences are very similar to the major sellers amongst the wide public putting the diet drinks aside along with Pepsi and Fanta. because as I have already mentioned... Mtn Dew/Coke are my bread-and-butter long term as it's close either way for me between those two and in my 3rd spot is Dr Pepper and outside that, which I don't venture outside of much, Sprite is one of my top choices amongst the rest (it's easily my favorite amongst that type of drink) but once I put Coke/Mtn Dew/Dr Pepper aside I don't think there is another drink that I would not get tired of once I start drinking it on a regular basis. p.s. I think my dad was drinking that Code Red stuff for a little while years ago (maybe something like 10-15 years ago or so which sounds about right given it was released in 2001) but I don't think it stuck with him for too long as he seems to be similar to myself from what I can tell with the Coke/Mtn Dew thing and maybe a little bit outside of that once in a while.

I switched to regular Mountain Dew for a while back in the late 90s. Then when Code Red came out in 2001 I tried it and haven't looked back. After drinking that for so long regular Mountain Dew just doesn't even sound good. Code Red is my go to and then I alternate between Coke and Pepsi when I want to change it up.

Cool. As long as they keep the color aesthetics how it currently is then I'm fine with that. The old logo is better than the current, but the current aesthetics what with the blue blackground on the can instead of white is far better.

Are you talking about Barq's Red Creme soda? no. at least i have not tried barq's red creme. i first tried it while on vacation and we were visiting this weird, antique store that was more warehouse-y than antique store-y. they had an old fashioned soda can dispenser and the only thing left was this soda. i am unsure what the brand was. however, amazingly i saw an episode of the Hogan family and mark was shown drinking the soda.

I think Heinz beans also are using a retro label. I was watching an early 70s movie and they had the same design as the current cans.
