I think maybe BB was concerned with the Eagles giant WR's, I dunno. He still played on special teams, a BB staple.
I thought he'd be playing more after halftime, something to shake up the flatlined D. I'm not losing sleep knowing Patricia has moved on.

I know that Bill Belichick said that it wasn't but I really think that Butler was benched for Disciplinary Reasons.
What they are though, I have No Idea!

Cause in my book, I don’t care if Butler blew up a bus full of nuns in the week leading up to the Super Bowl, I’m going to start him. Deal with the discipline later, win the Super Bowl now. Butler is their best coverage guy, not having him killed the secondary, the Pats are thin on defense and there is no excuse for benching Butler. |
