What about Santonio Holmes’ amazing grab to give the Steelers the win in Super Bowl 43? Or James White’s TD to complete the amazing comeback and give the Pats the win last year? There are many other ones to choose from as well.

The comeback TD from last years super bowl was insane. Huge comeback, first over time win, great game.
I also love how you only put plays that go against NE....man you dont even try.
Off this list, Burress's catch.

I also love how you only put plays that go against NE What do these plays have to do with NE? Garo's Gaffe (Super Bowl VII) Robert Newhouse's HB pass (Super Bowl XII) John Riggins 4th-and-1 (Super Bowl XVII) Marcus Allen's 74-yard TD run (Super Bowl XVIII) James Harrison's 100-yard INT return (Super Bowl XLIII) Jacoby Jones' 108-yard KO return (Super Bowl XLVII) Von Miller's strip sack and Malik Jackon's fumble recovery (Super Bowl 50) Off this list, Burress's catch. Burress TD catch belongs on the list because it was very memorable: The player who publicly predicted a 23-17 Giants win, which Brady laughed at, catches the go-ahead TD with 29 seconds left and that TD spoils the Patriots bid for a 19-0 season. Now that's memorable!

Off this list, Burress's catch. That was a strange comment. 7 of the list's 9 plays didn't feature NE at all. And the 2 did went against NE, but we all know NE never made a memorable TD play, ever. When we got 10 years down the road, you guys wanna try and sell me that the Foles catch is more memorable > NE OT final drive? Yea, it was a good play, but how NE completed the comeback, first OT SBowl ever. When all comes down, that will be more memorable > Foles catch tonight. Again, it will always be plays against NE. (That went against NE.) It's just obvious. Honestly, looking at the "plays" Joe Montanas game winning drive was insane.

First OT win in Sbowl history....come on. Meanwhile, you got the Foles catch on the list!?

From those named, I would have to go with Jacoby Jones return for a TD, because at that point it just showed dominance by the Ravens. They were beating the 49ers on every "side" of the ball. I actually enjoyed the game until the lights went out.
But Devin Hester kickoff return for a TD was my favorite:

Re: first OT win in SB history, sure. But people remember that ending for the circumstances, for the fact that the Patriots came back to win, not the nature of White's play itself. The question posed is about the most memorable TD in SB history. The Foles catch was ballsy, dramatic, outrageous, and certainly memorable.

Every non-biased fan would agree that Foles' TD catch is 1 of the most memorable TDs in Super Bowl history. It's the only TD catch by a QB in Super Bowl history and it came on a trick play on a crucial 4th-down play. That's very memorable, 1 analyst on ESPN today called that the greatest play call in Super Bowl history. -Yea, as was the come back TD NE had in over time against the Falcons after being insanely down. It was just a 2-yard TD run against a defense that was already gassed and everyone in the stadium and everyone on TV knew that the TD was inevitable because the Falcons' defense was too gassed to make a defensive stand. Foles' TD catch is memorable because it's the only TD catch by a QB in Super Bowl history and it came on a trick play on a crucial 4th-down play. Skip Bayless is a hardcore Dallas fan and said he hated seeing Eagles win. Like I said, youre not a Dallas fan, at all. One analyst. Foles catch was minor bs. The Erts play was more impressive imho. No, not ever non biased fan, notice mostly who is liking your stuff, yup, Philly fans, and hey I get it, I do. First super bowl, theyre gonna be pumped. Foles catch will be forgotten in 2 years.

The OT comeback will be talked about a lot more over the Foles catch, book it. Most remember that final TD to seal the deal > Foles catch, prisoner of moment. Man youre a joke.

Santonio Holmes's catch was tougher than Plaxico's and won a game in the final minutes as well. I understand that you might not want to have two from the same game (and Harrison's was a 14 point turnaround), but Holmes's catch was easily better than Plaxico's.

The Burress catch was fairly routine. The play was made on reading that blitz and choosing the corner fade... but he was wide open and made an easy catch. The memorable moment on the drive was obviously the Eli escape and Tyree catch. The Holmes TD catch was actually the most memorable part of the drive.

You're not being reasonable here. AH Fan is sniveling little piece of shit to be sure, but the plays listed were not mostly against the Pats... And in trying to come up with a really memorable Patriots super bowl touchdown play, none actually spring to mind. The overtime TD from last year was not a memorable play at all. It was pedestrian 2 yard run. The game as a whole was highly memorable and exciting, but I don't think any single play stands out. The overtime aspect and the comeback will be remembered, the 2 yard rushing touchdown will not to the same degree at all. In other Pats super bowl wins it's sort of the same thing. They were all close games, but mostly were characterized by long drives and the most memorable scoring plays were actually the game winning field goals. Of those on the list, I'd say the James Harrison interception was maybe the most remarkable. I think of that as mostly a failure of the offense's tackling on a turnover, but it was dramatic as hell and was a huge point swing in that game, and of course was scored as time expired in the half so if he didn't go the full distance it wouldn't count for much of anything other than just a defensive stop. The Plax play was the capper to a memorable drive, but was not the memorable moment of the drive or the game. The Tyree play will always overshadow that moment. However, the Giants' game winning touchdown by Ahmad Bradshaw in the rematch has got to be one of the most memorable, simply because it was so odd. Like the Foles one, the uniqueness of the play makes it particularly memorable, but unlike the Foles one it was a go ahead/game winner, and was sort of done by accident and confusion. It's an oddity in the history of the super bowl, and has to be one that people will remember, even though it also came after a majorly memorable play to Manningham on the sideline.

Skip Bayless is a hardcore Dallas fan and said he hated seeing Eagles win. Like I said, youre not a Dallas fan, at all. One analyst.Cris Collinsworth also said that was the gutsiest play call in Super Bowl history and Collnsworth is a huge Brady fanboy. The OT comeback will be talked about a lot more over the Foles catch, book it. Most remember that final TD to seal the deal > Foles catch, prisoner of moment. Man youre a joke. [/b][/quote] Nope. 10 years from now, NOBODY outside of New England will even remember who scored the TD in OT or what the play was. But EVERYBODY, including EVERYBODY in New England, will remember Nick Foles' TD catch because that's a unforgettable play that will be remembered forever. And you can book that because that is 100% FACT.
