The Cloverfield Paradox
The third in the series went to Netflix.
This one is set mostly on a space station testing out a particle accelerator.
FX were mostly decent. Good production design.
A few good moments...
....amidst the messily constructed narrative, minimal characterization, by Jove this was a bit of a shitfest. There's no build up, no suspense, it just ploughs through, frequently shifting from one incident to the next, to the point where it's just tiresome. Characters aren't too likable, in fact it doesn't take long before infighting and suspicions occur. It had an interesting premise, but it just isn't told well. It's like they just got a script for a wouldbe SciFi thriller and just shoehorned in connections to Cloverfield.
